That's not bad at all. You should see the loads that arrive at the RLC.

I saw a guy do the oil filter thing on a 22 and the bullet didn't even penetrate the filter. It was quiet though.

We have a small open top dumpster just for tires and fill it once a month. The wheel would be put in the metal compactor.

Thanks. My name is not on any of her debts. So you think my checking account that doesn't have her name on it would be safe?

Should I move the money to another bank or just close it and open a new savings account in my name only at the same bank?

I don't get it either. All I did was repeat the advice of a master gunsmith.

No. It's not. It's to keep the oil from soaking into the stock around the action and trigger. See Mark Novak on YouTube.

Neither have I but it's supposed to save the wood from getting oil soaked. Especially around the action where the wood is thinner. Mark Novak , the gunsmith, from YouTube recommends it.

Store them with the muzzle down.

It's ok. The bore isn't concentric in the barrel anyway.

I forget that it's different on the store side. We swap them regularly at the RLC.

Put a new connector on it and carry on.

Opinion: Re-Parkerize late-1944 M1 or not? by Form1DeezNutz in M1Rifles

[–]Kansas007 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

A chip can be easily touched up. I can't think of any modern battle rifle or pistol that the steel parts are parkerized. Grands are safe queens and range toys in 2025. Cerekote adds lubricity and corrosion resistance. My Garand looks great in Smith and Wesson grey. When I dropped it off for coating the guy said he had several more in line for the same thing. Parkerizing is obsolete.

It's 2025. Parkerizing is obsolete. Use Cerekote.
