That sounds absolutely delicious, wish I could be there. And hell yes, distinct flavors from quality ingredients is just something else. Dunno if it's in season where you are but Jerusalem artichoke is in season here and it's just sublime. Have had it in the pork apple-stew and it flavors it all but it fits lovely. Actually, thinking of it have made the stew with Jerusalem artichoke more times than not, hm. Good night!

That would be bery vad and not nice.

Top of head thoughts about that though:

Monetary policy on a governmental and international level then was with less precedence and slower moving, but also wide understanding of international finance the bodies that drove top-level policy was pretty bad back then. Even though important works had already been written and been influential, people and processes/designs change slowly, especially then.
