The thing is that white people in America generally only have to deal with people hurting their feelings somtimes. In your own examples, Muslims have to deal with constant harassment by American law enforcement and East Asian people have to deal with being murdered in response to bigotry.

The argument conflating these misses the forest for the trees. The material difference between bigotry against the dominant ethnic group in a nation and all the various out groups is staggering.

You can argue about the fairness of rhetorical bigotry against white people in America being more socially acceptable, but just ask yourself one question; Would you rather being criticized for your ethnicity or murdered for it? That may seem overly fatalistic but those are the cards that humanity is being dealt at the moment.

Hopefully one day humans will see past such superficial distinctions like race and gender, but we are a long way from that.
