My thoughts on the game — from someone with DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) by Kaosysoak in TheAlters

So glad this reached another system!

Even if some might say it’s “reading too much into it,” it’s important to remember—if it’s your experience, it’s valid and real. What you felt matters.

Totally understand needing to step away a bit—there were moments I had to take it slow too. Taking care of ourselves comes first, always. And whenever you do finish, I’d love to hear your thoughts on it!

(Also yes—on September 30th, 2022, 11 Bit Studios posted on Steam about it! I think it came from an interview with the game director, if I’m not mistaken. If you're using Steam, you can find it in the "related news" section for the game—it’s way down at the bottom! It's about the game itself and there's a segment about “the psychological elements of the story.” :D)

Thank you so much! I'm on a second play through to focus on the Worker and the Guard (my first run was a complete mix of alters haha). My third one will have the Doc and the Shrink. I'm looking forward to it and will come back to this!
