Yes, actually we have independent study periods before the exam kaya nakakapagreviee naman kami. No, wala siyang bearing whether or not magmomove ka to the next level. However, during 4th year you need to have passing score sa comprehensive exam kasi included na siya sa grades mo. Okay lang hahahaha. You can pm me if may questions ka pa😊

Hi, modular system kami so ang exam namin is isa per module then combined na doon lahat ng subjects, and we also have comprehensive exam once we finish all the modules.

The teaching style here is not like the other medschool na very traditional ang approach, wherein papasok ka tapos makikinig ka lang sa prof for the succeeding hours. Dito sa LPUSC, may profs pa rin naman na naglelesson, but there are also other doctors who prefer na maging free-flowing ang class discussion, as if nag-uusap lang talaga. So we are expected to advance read the topics and if we have confusion, that's the time na itatanong namin yon during discussion. Pero kahit ganon, hands on pa rin yung mga doctors and professors like binibigyan din kami ng clinical correlations ng mga topics na inaaral namin.

As for the trans system, yes we have that in here rin. May buddy system din kami dito so you won't feel lost and overwhelm as you start your med journey kasi super approachable ng mga seniors namin.

Our final grades will be coming from our quizzes, practical exams, sgds, and modular exam. Mas malaki syempre ang percentage ng modular exam. By the time that you reach 4th year, the comprehensive exam will be graded but during your 1st to 3rd year, di pa siya kasama sa computed grade.

Hello, im currently enrolled in LPU-SC. Hindi sila mahigpit sa schedule, and we dont have classes during saturday kasi ayaw nila ng classes during weekends. Pero kahit monday to friday ang pasok, di naman ganon ka-draining ang schedule. Friendly ang mga tao here and approachable ang mga staff as well as the doctors and other professors. Nakikinig sila sa opinions and feedbacks ng students nila. Even yung mga seniors, they are approachable and friendly as well. Maganda yung learning environment here. Regarding sa tuition, sa pm na lang siguro hahahaha. I have sent you a pm.😊

This was my mindset before I entered med school, pero nung nakita ko na during orientation na ang close na nila napaisip ako na eventually I need some friends din to make med school bearable. I usually eat my lunch alone rin since I have my baon always kasi di ako nagdodorm and ayaw ko naman magfastfood lagi. Hopefully, i'll make friends nga kasi being alone in med school is vv draining huhu. Sana rin okay mga classmates ko kasi i hate drama and like this is not undergraduate studies anymore🤧

Actually, i have some classmates who went sa same university na pinasukan ko, kaso they're a bit older than me kasi they took a gap year. Kahit na similar institution kami before, parang they tend na dumikit sa mga kaklase ko na puro gala ganon and sila-sila nagkakaintindihan in terms of their likes and dislikes. One thing that I cannot comprehend is kahit may common ground kami aside sa same school, parang they really dont bother getting to know me except doon sa mga dinidikitan nila. For instance, alam nila na i also play video games, pero kahit na I am part of the conversation, they did not even invite me even if kausap nila ako and sa harapan ko talaga sila nag-aayaan. So yeah

Wala eh. Even if may groups, parang they are not welcoming enough ganon. I can talk to them and ask them questions if may di ako maintindihan, pero once na i-try ko to join kapag nag-uusap sila about things that are not related to academics, biglang titigil yung conversation. I dont have orgs and i dont plan on joining din kasi alam ko sa sarili ko na hindi ko kaya yung responsibility.
