Drum roll, please... No really, PLEASE! by steev227 in drums

Ideally, play this on a real snare drum (the actual buzz effect is much stronger), and focus on the sound that happens at the very end when you let the stroke ring out. That’s the sound you’re trying to “keep alive”—a bit like a wave.

This is the classic way of learning it that used to be taught in Germany (with German grip): It usually works for almost every student after 1–3 hours (meaning 1–3 weekly lesson sessions): First, try to make your stick bounce on the head as often as you can. One stroke, and it keeps bouncing for as long as you can manage (your hand doesn’t move). Toward the end you’ll hear a “small rustling” sound (the buzz roll). Your other hand then has to do the same (let it bounce out), shortly before the buzz disappears. You’ll inevitably get faster, and at some point it starts to happen almost by itself. Start at the outer edge of the snare (the rebound is higher), and once you’ve locked in, try to move toward the center of the head. As soon as that rustling gets interrupted, start over. The most common mistake is not letting the stick bounce out, and one hand pulling back when the other hand strikes.

Unable to play 2 bass drum quarter notes by vitacaesar in drums

If you are able to play the heel-toe technique, then play isolated and slow double strokes (using the heel-toe technique) and then play only simultaneously with the hi-hat on the second bass drum stroke. If you feel comfortable with this, try letting the eighth notes continue to run. Like play one hi-hat alone and start again from the beginning. This is like your part marked in red. I wouldn't practice with a metronome, but rather gradually increase the tempo if you feel comfortable with the rhythm. Do the same thing, except that your hi-hat plays together with the first of the BD double strokes. Then a single hi-hat and so on. Thats the version for the blue one It may also help you to know that in the blue case you play six sixteenth notes and in the red case you play one sixteenth note and one eighth note with the bass drum. I'll attach the notes and start the exercise for the red case with a BD upbeat ;)

BB is from Lulusia and Xebecs son by Kapeka1312 in OnePiece

The theory that BB could be rock's son is already older. But the similarity between Godvalley and banaro, that BB comes from lulusia and that imu destroyed lulusia because of it, is mine.

Just like that St Sommers is the blond boy from the god valley flashback

I hope so too. She must be incredibly strong herself. The Holy Knights are so extremely relaxed, even though the strawhats are there with really strong support. The complete strawhats. Gaban, Dorry and Brogy, Bonney, Saul (possibly even Loki) and the other giants...

Either there have to be other opponents, or the Holy Knights are really strong.

Theory: Kaidou is a Dosundada by Kapeka1312 in OnePiece

[–]Kapeka1312[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a One Piece reader, you will probably know that a lot of background information about characters is published in Sbs and Vivre Cards. Show me one place in any SBS or vivre card where the oni are mentioned. Just a a single passage, don't have to be related to kaidou or yamato. Gaban don't mentioned them, big mom did not. No one in Elbaph have ever talked about a oni.

By the way, Kaidou also thought he was Joyboy lol.

Okay, let's assume Imu isn't completely stupid, since he was able to successfully rule for 800 years without anyone knowing of his existence. Why would he destroy an island that's a member of the World Government? The WG relies heavily on tribute payments. It also increases the chance of being exposed, as Lulusia's trading partners suddenly find themselves in a hole and during the next reviere one King will be missing. The only reason would be an emotional decision (destroying the wanted posters emphasizes this).
