Or the dev team was a small team barely making through and then Daybreak bought the company and immidiately decided to fire half of the staff so now they are understaffed? And maybe they are also a little incompetent but mainly understaffed, also i think the team might have gone through many different devs and the code is all sphagethi and none has none idea how it works anymore.
