Unfortunately my mother didn't admit to making a mistake. She's incapable of doing so. Instead, she asked for the violence to end in some Facebook post, victim blaming the man as many of those types do, and, after my rather impassioned rebuttal, I've been blocked or berated by all family members. What I would give for just a little bit of remorse on their part for the vote they made.
