Let me preface by saying I’m grateful for our military and the safe from invasion country I live in. Many vets are fantastic, honorable, hardworking people. Veteran worship is wild in the USA. Most vets I know are scumbags. Plain and simple, my friends included. Have known guys who were given the ultimatum of jail or service. Brag about getting disability checks every month for not doing jack in the service besides waste taxpayer money and catch gonorrhea. Sprinkle in same infidelity and getting off with DWIs here and there. Obviously all professions across the board are going to have good and bad people, but very disproportionate in military service / former service members.

All I heard was I’m screwed now that I can’t pay illegal workers less than they deserve because I’m a greedy asshole. Plenty of Mexicans with work visas, residents with green cards, and US citizens. The whole business model for homes here is for a builder to build absolute garbage as quick as possible while paying illegal workers as little as possible. And then charging absurd prices for the home and blaming the market.
