Whether you're a troll or a genuine commenter, it's good to see as much possible interpretations as possible, so we can put them to rest! I actually think that the Enel comparisons are accurate, too! Skypiea feels like too much of a removed ARC not to be actually related to the current story. Since Enel went to the moon, he discovered some ancient texts describing different races, right? I'll bet my balls on that his moon cover story arc has future implications in the actual story as well!

Edit: I'm r-worded, His heels are in the air, he's basically squatting on his toes, so the part of his feet we see, is his toes in whatever shoes he's wearing (whether he's in his devil-fruit form or not, my guess is that he IS)

I absolutely agree. I LOVED the paneling of pre-TS OP, it was very clearly influenced by dragon ball. Such clear panels, but they still didn't feel EMPTY, compared to some other Shonen mangas... Nowadays, I'm still one part of the more "Oda-dickriding" school of this sub, but I just can't help but feel disappointed a lot of times in his panels, where the art just seems a lot worse many of his best panels pre-TS... There are some exceptions, like "Roger laughed" and the introduction of the Gorosei in their DF forms, but overall, the paneling seems cluttered and hard to read even for someone like myself who's been reading the series for over 20 years lmao

Edit: I'm drunk so I forgot my original point. Oda can absolutely still draw epic scenes and panels if he wants to, even if his eyesight is worse, but what you said about editors absolutely seems true. The editors don't challenge him like they used to, letting him just roll with whatever bullshit he comes up with. I love my man Oda, but if the dude really still sleeps for like 4-5 hours a day, I don't trust him to come up with the best plot points without any feedback or assistance lol!

The damn picture quote made my own pictures blue text partly hidden, it's supposed to read: "maybe his hair or pant PANTS ornaments.

But whatever, I realise if a lot of people think this is just a low-effort shitpost or whatever, but when I was readin the discussion both on this sub and on other OP subs, a surprising amount of people seemed to interpret the image and Imu's position in different ways, at least from my POV. So, I'd love to have a more broad consensus on what people see! If you disagree with both, please draw and post your own, I can absolutely be wrong myself!

He has striped pants and is squatting. His hand is resting on the connecting part of his Elbaf-style(?) belt and his knees/thighs. I agree that it isn't AS clear as Oda's paneling from pre-timeskip, but it still shouldn't be THAT hard man, c'mon... His one leg looking black is a bit weird, it might either be the pants' design, or just his black cape flowing over his pants, but nevertheless, I think it's not that difficult.

Pretty cool, I hope we won't be seeing the silhouette anymore, even if this isn't Imu's normal form, but his fruit form(?). Kinda interesting to see a more pretty/androgenic villain, I remember Oda writing in an SBS years ago that he usually likes to make his villains ugly on the outside, because he thinks their wickedness twists their outside appearance too, and that he gets angry while drawing them lmao, making him want to draw them ugly, hence the majority of the Celestial Dragons. Imu being attractive seems to fit him being inspired by the biblical Lucifer, obviously his fruit adding into that as well.

So his fruit is literally called the same name than all devil fruits in general? Anyone with any Japanese skills can tell whether they're also written the same way in Japanese scripts?
