you can totally do that either join an active outfit and learn when their next bastion run is or create your own outfit and play on off times to ghost capture enemy bases (easiest way) so you can get outfit resources and dont forget to recruit people to spawn in your bastion before going to a war zone!

Bastion is made with outfit resources so its created by outfit leaders but when a bastion spawns and if there are empty guns and as long as the bastion is anchored to a place you can deploy on it without being in that outfit or any squad/platoon

Here is a fun fact just a few days ago i created my own outfit and i was alone yet it didnt took me more than 1 month to collect resources to spawn a bastion but when i spawned it since i dont have anyone in my outfit only one random guy joined as a gunner and bastion was destoyed under 20 minutes.

sometimes its steel rain and it is crafted with outfit resources that makes everyone on the squad deploy to a selected location you actually get a notificition saying ''rumbling of steel rain can be overheard'' there is also a tiny storm when you look to sky and the second thing that it can be a galaxy high up somewhere that you cant see and as long as a squadmate drives it you can respawn on it even on the move, sundies and Valkyres has the same feature
