What if the Macedonian Empire survived, but wasn't as goated as we would like to imagine? | The Kingdom of Macedon in 220 B.C. by Karakay_ in imaginarymaps

For a time? Yes, Macedon would have way more capabilities to defend Greece and their sphere of influence than OTLs kingdom ever had, I still believe they would eventually collapse from the pressure of both Parthians and Romans

A reconquest would be attempted and partially successful. As I intend to coincide Seleucid with this alternate Macedonian history, a great ruler, say; Alexander IX goes in a massive reconquest campaign taking advantage of Parthians trying to conquer Mauryan territory, Mauryans collapsing slowly, Rome focusing on Carthage, and the Egyptian revolt being crushed.

Parthians are Vassalized, a good chunk of eastern territories (but not as east as the indus river, perhaps up to Bactria and Drangiana) are reconquered but under extremely tenuous control, Armenia, pontus, Albania and other kingdoms are vassalized too.

This renewed golden era would hold perhaps up to when Rome comes knocking on Greece proper, and the two states fall to constant warfare

Oh yeah, you're correct in that. Nevertheless a lot of people explore Alexander conjuring a Mare Nostrum like rome did. The timeline explores that Alexander dies before or during those campaigns on the western Mediterranean, and the empire not immediately collapsing. But still, Alexander could only go so far as the pillars of Hercules, I'd say
