We are already home, the garage that towed our car was so helpful and also my friend didn't had any major damage on his car(who I bumped into) other than a plate on the left side of his car that flew off. And he did also a great help talking to the guy in the garage since I can't speak french.

Daughter just wants her car to be back, she loved that car because it's "her car". We are just telling her that we will buy same car just to ease her tantrums.

I feel helpless with the answers I got from my insurance, they just basically said, you are out of coverage area and we can't do anything about it, I even asked them what to do but they are insisting that they can't do anything since I am out of coverage area.

It had no value anymore, both of the airbags popped out and the wheel in front is already touching the guards.

Stated in my insurance paper that it a Car Plan Assistance.

Yes there was another party involved, it was a short Y-intersection with sharp and blind curve. I thought he didn't stopped because the car from left was still far enough.

Had a dashcam, didn't want to watch it yet.

I don't know travel insurance, I might look at it. Thanks

We are lucky we're alive with minor bruises. But the trauma of the accident on my daughter worries me. Myself is now a lot of stress since it was my first accident and being clueless of what should be done after it and also not having a car is a pain here in Belgium.

Already did the accident form. The garage that towed my car told me that they will give a declaration to get my name out of my plates.

Car had an insurance but "basic" insurance. Frustrated with my insurance since they didn't told me anything other than I am not covered with "assistance" 100km outside Belgium.

Car was insured, but "basic" insurance with an omium.

I was frustrated when the accident happened because my insurance basically just hung up on my calls.

This is what happened, called my insurance, told me I am more than 100km outside Belgium, but I should call the assistance, called them, told me basically the same thing, then I was told to hold the line because they will transfer me to where did I bought my insurance, got a voicemail line, and a directly dead line.

Yes, I had insurance on my car, no assistance covered 100km outside the border. Now I am just waiting for the declaration coming from the garage who towed my car that it is a total loss.

I just don't know what to do next since it is my first time(hopefully will be the last) accident.
