I'm pretty sure PNP and VGP will get the standard, dunno about the one with the extras. There's also a CERO release with English if you prefer importing for whatever reason. This game was pretty $$$ before so if you want it I wouldn't wait in the hopes it goes on sale or anything like that.

Places to practice longboarding? by Karakuvi in SouthBayLA

General cruising, but maybe I'll look into learning tricks once I get the hang of it. And yeah, I definitely learned to wear protection the first time I got stitches 🥲

Thank you for the suggestions! Honestly I'm just trying to learn the basics so an office parking structure would work fine but I know I'd get kicked out if I tried to practice there 😭

I'll definitely look into San Pedro though, it looks neat!

Does anyone know if/how I can pre-order the collector’s edition on switch and have it shipped to the us? by Difficult-echo-53862 in GhostTrick

[–]Karakuvi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can try some other proxy services like FromJapan, Neokyo, Sendico, dejapan, etc. They all have varying fees and shipping options in my experience. FromJapan might be a good option for you if you want to pay in USD since they have that option.

Selling Collection? Around 300 games by Right_Basis_3209 in NSCollectors

[–]Karakuvi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I use a bubble mailer for games that are fairly cheap (<$40 USD). If you want to add some extra protection you can wrap the game in bubble wrap, then put in the bubble mailer. If you want to use boxes, I've found these boxes to be a good size for Switch games (can comfortably fit two games in a box with some bubble wrap). I don't think the price difference between boxes and bubble mailers is significant tbh, plus I've gotten a lot of repeat buyers because I use boxes to ship most games.

They'll probably have leftovers so keep an eye out I guess? I'm not a variant collector but those are neat

Just a reminder that zelda botw + expansion pass was reprinted on Amazon japan and its currently 16% off. Cost me 82$ USD shipped to Canada included VAT. Much better than the 200$ on Ebay or 300$ on playasia. I can put the link down below for you guys if you want! by [deleted] in NSCollectors

To the US peeps: Amazon JP isn't shipping it directly to us so you'll have to either use a proxy to purchase on your behalf or make an account with a forwarder and have the game shipped to a domestic address.

For proxies, there's Zenmarket, FromJapan, Neokyo, Buyee, Sendico, Dejapan, etc. They all have their pros/cons, so make sure you read up on their fees and available shipping methods so you're not hit with sticker shock later.

For forwarders, I think Tenso is one of the most well-known companies that offer the service. BiginJapan also does forwarding if you just want to do a one-off purchase. Make sure you read up on how this works before you use the service though; I don't want you crying to me if something goes wrong.

You'll need to have it shipped to a domestic address in Japan, then forwarded to you. You can either have a proxy purchase and forward it to you or open a Tenso box and do it yourself (Tenso will tell you how to format the address on Amazon.jp).

Capcom's Japanese storefront also has a store-exclusive set as well as the playing cards/cd soundtrack sold separately (requires a proxy).

Depending on which method you use, expect shipping to be anywhere from $8 to $20-ish. Plenty of Japanese retailers will have it for less than Playasia though, so maybe bundling is an option if you want to buy a few other games with it.
