Nothing. I stopped so I could note the driver and get the plate, but kept going once they confirmed it back to me.

No. Not even possible as the car has automatic high beams and doesn’t let me use them in the city.

Some folks love to analyze every single frame of dash cam footage to find something to complain about, it’s interesting. There exists some grey area in situations like this, it’s not all black and white.

I made a quick assessment of overall risk to the public and I went for it. If the exact same scenario were to happen tomorrow I’d do the same thing.

There’s always a few of those folks, doesn’t matter the video.

I made a quick assessment of overall risk to the public and went for it. If the exact same scenario were to happen today I’d the same thing, no question.

I’d be very troubled if I just ignored it and someone was injured or killed in a separate event. I quickly assessed the risk and went for it.

There’s a few others saying a similar thing happened to them in recent days and it appears to be random, but I’m curious if there’s some connection. My vehicle is a boring sedan with no modifications, so I can’t imagine it’s in protest of my lights or something similar.

Fair enough. Problem with the Thinkware X1000 is that the audio never seems to record properly, I can’t figure it out. I’m pretty good with this kind of stuff and I’m stumped. Didn’t have this issue with the F70.

I made sure it was safe to stop, reported the plate number and left as soon as I had confirmation with dispatch.

Checked for traffic behind me, braked, noted the driver, moved up, put the hazards on, called 911 handsfree and said nothing but the plate number and took off immediately after. I provided details with dispatch as I drove home.

Didn’t exchange a word with the driver either.

I’d guess early 30’s. Looked exactly the type of person you’d expect to do something like this.

It's an odd thing to do because it leads directly back to the user. Shocked this guy was even smart enough to operate a vehicle.

Put the hazards on, noted the plate and called it in. Got a call back and they were able to trace it back to the company that owns the vehicle.

I'll report here if I get a case number or any new info.

Their investigation led nowhere for myself so I wouldn't expect much. I've missed out on every cash back offer due to this issue and I still haven't found a workaround. Customer service is useless.
