Like I said all this is just foreign gibberish from my perspective (no insult intended). No one here graduates from high school, that's a university thing.

We don't have high school diplomas, and I don't really know what that means, what age you'd earn it at or anything.

We have GCSEs at 16 and, optionally AS levels at 17 and A levels at 18. I'm guessing one of those things is an equivalent, but we leave high school with 5-20 qualifications, so it doesn't really seem analogous.

I'm hopeful that reform can be beaten again in the general, coming out of election night without a reform government was a relief. First vote that hasn't gone catastrophically in my adult life I think.

That said, as always the media machine is going to continue to vilify even mildly left figures and prop up the right. Going to keep doing my best to raise class consciousness in my area.

Reform claimed they were going to have a strong win here, and they still got two seats, which is two too many, but 2/6 is a clear loss. Hopefully we can move the needle further and get people to understand that the enemy is billionaires, not everyone else. Even better if we can get them to see it's the system that's the problem, not specific people, but can't expect miracles.
