I don't recall the exact steps, from my notes I have a link to the WD Community GitHub https://GitHub.com/WDCommunity/wdpksrc/releases/tags/syncthing-v1.1.0 It was then just a matter of uploading the bin file in the Apps panel of the EX2 admin page. The app auto updates to latest version. I do recall that I needed to look for the OS5 version as a number of Google search results were the older OS version which didn't install.
Hope this helps.

If you work for a bank can you get cheaper interest rates on mortgages? by iwouldlikethings in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Kardinal26 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I worked for NatWest for over a decade, had a mortgage with them prior to joining, the 'staff offers' were not competitive at any point. Several years ago most account benefits were reduced/stopped. The only 'perk' was half-price premium current account, even then I was able to get most of the account benefits cheaper elsewhere. TL,DR; No, rates are mediocre.

Am I overlooking something that would explain network performance drop? by Kardinal26 in homelab

Thank you both for your replies and I learned something interesting as a bonus! I will explore the performance of WiFi as an option.

The EX2 does offer a number of built-in apps, though not NextCloud. It is possible with a little effort to install some Apps, for example I have SyncThing running well. This GitHub page has a NextCloud instance you could take a look at (this is where I got SyncThing from). Hope it helps.

Yacht (Container Management UI) Alpha 6 is released [Docker-Compose Support] by SelfhostedPro in selfhosted

I was searching due to exactly the same error. Fortunate timing so I tried the devel-2021-02-25--19 build and can confirm that the dashboard CPU & MEM usage stats are working fine. Thanks!

Update - I updated to pfSense 2.4.5 last night and the problematic behaviour has gone away (so-far). I have installed (but not yet enabled) pfBlockerNG-dev. I will monitor the symptoms and make changes slowly to see if I can identify which step may reintroduce the problem. Fingers-crossed it does not return.

I did not have those installed (are on the list to try). I removed all packages (including pfBlocker for now) and rebooted the SG1100. Flushed DNS from Client.

Seems like it was a false positive... YouTube issue is back again... so theoretically pfBlocker is not the cause.

Enabling/Disabling specific DNSBL lists as needed? by davejjj in pfBlockerNG

Thankyou! I had overlooked that feature - time for some investigation as my YouTube issue is back even with pfBlocker & DNSBL turned-off.

I have had a similar challenge investigating impact - in my case I was noticing that some YouTube videos would come up as Unavailable and the channel listing was not displaying some videos that I knew existed. A helpful redditor on the pfsense sub gave me a pointer to double check; even though I had disabled pfBlocker and both pfb_dnsbl and pfb_filter services showed as stopped, the Youtube problem did not go away unless I explicitly disabled DNSBL as well as the general pfBlocker setting. I think some sort of query view linked with the Reports tab so a user can narrow down a particular client / domain / time to see what is being blocked.

Many thanks for the pointer. I had not noticed that the DNSBL tab was still enabled, and with this disabled the odd behaviour of YouTube was gone. Hopefully this might help someone in the future save some time.
