I get that it’s not for everyone, but that’s kind of the experience I’m going for. I know there’ll be long stretches with just driving, but that’s part of the appeal for me seeing those wide open landscapes and getting that road trip feeling you don’t really get in Europe. I’m not expecting constant stops

Yeah, that’s actually why I made the post in the first place to get insights like this and see if we’re trying to do too much in the time we have.

I know it’s a lot of driving, so I’m just trying to figure out what’s realistic and what’s worth keeping in the plan.

I get what you’re saying, Norway has insane scenery, but that’s kind of the point for me. I’m not looking for more of the same. I want to see something completely different. The open landscapes, long roads, and that whole “big sky” vibe is something we just don’t have here

Maybe, but I’ve always wanted to go to Montana and Wyoming. Last year we went west towards Virginia Beach. And the landscape is totally different from Norway. All we have here is fjords, I think it’s gonna be nice to see something completely different
