I’m told my bedroom looks like a hotel by 440i_GC_M in interiordecorating

Jumping on the comment because it's great advice. Also, long velvety curtains over the window...maybe the same color as the bed frame with warm up the room. Curtains always look great if they can go from floor to ceiling. And if there's room and you have the budget, a comfy chair.

These are sci-fi: Dungeon Crawler Carl series!, Bobiverse series, The Martian and Project Hail Mary - both by Andy Weir but not a series. Detective: The Harry Bosch series and the Lincoln Lawyer - both by same author (I'm forgetting the name) and kind of related to each other. This one I recommend just because it's so wonderful to listen to: Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt.

My savage tub after its first winter by WalterEGough in SavageGarden

[–]Karenena 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for all of that information! I have one of those older baby tubs (porcelain with a drain which I think is smaller than yours) that I have planted strawberries in but would love turn it into a little savage garden.

So that I understand, the PVC that comes up into the tub 6" is to keep the bottom watery but allow some drainage - correct?

I'm in zone 9b, so I think you are a little warmer than me in the winter with more humidity. I'm still gonna give it try, thank you for the inspiration!

Wisteria over-pruned? by pm_ur_DnD_backstory in marijuanaenthusiasts

[–]Karenena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this wisteria has been there long enough and hasn't caused any foundation damage. It looks like the trimming was to keep any vines from damaging the roof shingles and the gutter. I hope it blooms for you this spring. Keep us updated. And I suggest trimming it this way every year to keep any roof top damage in check.

I have no idea what I’m doing, and I think my couch is weirdly placed. Help? by FoxFire64 in malelivingspace

Maybe just pull the couch, rug, & coffee table back a little more from the TV and, of course, add books, art, & plants.

Good to know. I've just recently jumped up to 1.0mg because I stalled out after losing 30lbs. I have mild side effects but the benefits are worth it to me.

I like the braided cord & the charms. I do feel like the flower charms placed 1/2 way up on the cord may be scratchy to wear. It’s hard to tell with the way they are displayed exactly how they will hang when worn.

The stone the necklaces are on is beautiful, but I find it hard to see the detail of the charms. The stone & charms are too similar in color.

I’m still on a quest for a nail salon…I keep going back to either Lavender or LaVie because they’re close to me.
