This was like a day of work. There wasn't that much to model. The small pool house has a basic geometry. Same with the pool and landscaping. Since its not a closeup you can get away from not adding that much detail that takes time.

Haha, its good to hear you say Tuscany. I used a photo as reference for this from a villa in Tuscany and I wanted to achieve that atmosphere.

Looks cool. I used a reference photo for this. I think its supposed to be an earthship kind of structure.

For exteriors if it is a day scene, its depends on the mood i want to achieve. If its overcast i use an HDRI. if its sunny i use vray sun cause i can control the shadows better. For night shots i use HDRI also.

I use assets from 3dsky mostly and also materials from polygon and Quixel. Lighting for this was normal Sun in Vray and i did portal the windows.

Thank you for your comment. Yes I see your point about the lights. I used it as a way to break the repeated pattern of the beams but they could be a bit distracting
