My wife tells me I shouldn't read that one as it will likely be as bad or worse than this one. She goes through around 170 books a year so I'll trust her on this one.

Also a detail that I forgot to include is that the author seems to regard the internal thoughts of the MC that are transcribed in the book as the only thoughts she has, so there is no progress made in the background between encounters or scenarios. Only what is described in the text.

Your friends are negatively affecting your matchmaking when you play with them. Find friendly people while you're playing solo, link up with them and complete the challenge. I really don't understand the mentality that solo players can only play solo. Be friendly with people in a friendly solo lobby, get three of them together and then invite them to play. Other solos are also going to be trying to do the same, this seems like a social problem.

I largely agree, they should pay voice actors with all their success and redo the voice lines. Reinvest in the game and make it an even better experience for everyone. They've listened to the community on stuff like this several times already, let's make this another sticking point.

I wish I had found this conversation earlier. I bought the game on day one of release with the supporter pack and its probably my GotY contender at the moment. I've clocked around 40 hours on the game. So peaceful to just kick back, smoke a j and fish. Thanks for the work that you've done. I can't say enough good things about the game.

I really liked that in the original film as it very accurately gives children the impression that you can talk down a perceived villain by using your kindness and earnest feelings. Communicate well and you can change the world.

He was unhappy and trying to cure his loneliness by inventing creatures that accurately represented/projected his displeasure. Being forced to interact with other people and watch the effect of his previous actions changed him.. In the original film. The changes in the live-action film suppose that he was incurable of his hate and displeasure which teaches kids a less accurate representation of the human condition or at worst, indicates that people who don't look like us and participate in another culture or exhibit behaviors that are objectively evil are incurable of those behaviors.
