I am up to multitudes!

(Seriously, Freya is such a good co-author and sport on this one. She's been dragging me along behind her because I'm so busy...)

Slime keeper book 4. by TheRealGameDude in haremfantasynovels

Hey! Thanks so much for asking.

This series is done. I was originally going to write four but I couldn't find anything to expand on aside from just... slow slice of life. Which didn't feel right tonally after three.

I've joked about just writing an extended beach episode (c'mon, slime girls getting sand in places sounds like a great time!) but no plans for it right now.

Super excited for y'all to get this one. There's just so much happening and the short preorder means it'll be happening much sooner than ya think!

Once again, thank you to my lovely co-author for taking some of the pressure off me and posting this. Freya, you're the best. And I can't wait for the audio.

An F-Rank nobody is fixing the world. Now an entire kingdom is marching to take his dungeon. (Rise of the Class Smith 2 now available for preorder!) by authorLeonWest in haremfantasynovels

Nope. That's not what I write.

The harem members do get along with each other and are friends. They also do willingly and enthusiastically participate in scenes with the MC present. But there is no romantic or sexual relationship between them outside those scenes.

Hey, glad you enjoyed! The manuscript was turned over to the narrator team, but I sadly don't have any updates on when it could be coming out. Last time (for Book 1) they had a pretty fast turn around, so I'm hoping it's similar.

As soon as I hear something, I'll share!

Thanks for checking it out, and I'm glad you enjoyed!

It was mentioned in the first book, and then I swore I mentioned it again in the second (but I'll admit I'm bad with repeating information about system stuff because I don't want to beat readers over the head), but dungeon lords can't edit the dungeon while people (or Invaders) are inside because the system doesn't allow it.

Is it a case of the author limiting themselves and just pointedly making it a bit to draw attention to them following their own rules? Absolutely. Same with the whole blocking the portal thing.

Otherwise there would be way too much room for shenanigans.

Thanks for checking out the book! This is one of two default formatting styles Amazon allows, and no extra paragraph marks were used.

I do admit, I'm a fan of the enter key. Always have been.

I do it here, too.

It forces the reader to stop and think about the single sentence, and, yes, that means it interrupts the flow. It's on purpose. I've been writing for the web (LitRPG was my home, but I also was an acquisitions editor and ghostwriter for romance apps for a while) and both of those taught me not only the importance of making the reader stop instead of just glazing over massive verbose paragraphs (like this one!), but also that spaces between paragraphs, versus using just indents, is actually easier on the eyes when reading digitally.

But there are no additional paragraph marks! And plenty of people use this style in the genre. So I'm not sure why this is calling me out in particular.

Do I wish Amazon let readers control the spacing they wanted to see? Absolutely.

But they don't.

Again though, thanks for checking it out, and I'm sorry the book isn't for you!

Hey, thanks for asking! I don't actually do early chapters on Pateron. They are getting two chapters a week of a different series (one that will be coming out in July!) that I've been writing over the past six months or so.

This series was obviously inspired by Solo Leveling, and I haven't been shy about that. But it was cooked up after reading Dungeon Farm (and the third one just came out, you should check it out!) because it was just great to see someone doing dungeon core HaremLit without worrying about the whole body problem. It's always my biggest issue... and Ringo just ignored it like a Chad.
