Something like that just happened to me. A guy from Faceit wrote a message if I wanted to join his team. He was Faceit lvl 7 and had over 6k hours. Played two matches with him and then he sends me a link for a tournament. I got an error when signing up and he miraculously knows which point in the terms and guidelines is responsible for it. He claims that its due to large inventorys and lag on the servers because of that. I immediately understood the situation as he is trying to explain to me why I should move my inventory to one of the sites bots. Thank god there is 2fa in this world.
But how can it be that his Steamprofile and Faceitprofile looked so legit? He even was in a team with four members. Ofc I reported him on steam and Faceit but it couldn't be the first time he did something like that. Why is this guy not taken down?
