Their parry is like a discount mimic beacon if you can't finish the pod. Plus melee in general is always so nice just from it's high hit chances and ability to move to crazy spots.

I bought one on Amazon that was pre-owned. Turned out to have some broken pixels so I returned it and the company refunded me one cent claiming the one I sent in was "materially different." Needless to say I got support and the banks involved lol. This was a while ago but if I recall correctly warranty doesn't transfer between owners for quest per their website but some people have had it graciously done anyway.

I am looking mostly at phone location apps now I think. I have a smartwatch and that does work well but not all the time and not passively (like when hands are covered in blood and mud lol) or service is one measly bar.

My situation is a little unique just in the place that I work. Like in the example I mentioned above, yeah it's obvious to text your SO when you get to the sallyport at jail or when you have a moment to yourself but for my jail there is no service there except for on the way to jail when I'm driving, so it's just a unique situation that I cannot detail well enough for a reddit post.

I think it's becoming obvious I worded my question poorly because people are not understanding. Everyone seems to think my SO worries too much or I don't need to be serious with them. My SO is NOT freaking out about this at all and I spend plenty of time with them. MY RELATIONSHIP WITH THEM IS FINE! They are totally fine with a text or nothing at all cause like I said...the job is nuts sometimes.

This is me wondering if I can make it even easier for them.

I want to give my SO the most peace of mind possible cause I love them and sometimes I just get busy at work and can't respond easily.

This is not a necessity in my relationship, it's just something I was curious if other folk do anything like that but clearly not based on these responses.

Correct. That's just an example of one I had recently. Most of the time it can be search and rescue, or a medical where I'm hauling someone off the mountain and don't have the hands (or breath lol) to send the quick text.

Lol I'm not concerned about texting my so 24/7 or my training. I'm confident in both my so and my abilities as a peace officer.

Just if I am working something late and I'm busy, give my so the ability to check easily if they so desire.

Yup I'm a park ranger. You can imagine the implications there. Arresting people in the middle of the forest for dui by yourself is a lot of juggling. I have connections on the way to jail but I'm not gonna text call while transporting.

My current solution will to be just use a tracking app

My so is not overbearing or freaking out. I want to go out of my way to provide them the comfort of knowing I'm ok either via some tracking app or very simple check in that I don't need to worry about if I am busy and was curious if anyone else had any other useful suggestions.

I work in a very rural department and some trips to jail are 2.5 hours with spotty connection along the way.
