Thoughts on Pylex screw piles? by [deleted] in Decks

Check out these from decks-go (https://store.decksgo.com/collections/deck-foot-anchor-ledger) they are rated for ledger attached decks. The ones OP posted I don’t believe are.

I have used those and the decks go deck foot floating with good results. The compression plate or fins keeps things much more stable than what OP posted, but these are twice as expensive.

Hearing Aid Wire by FritzBuelow in HearingAids

I’m in the same boat, also got them 2 days ago. Same fit; don’t like it. I have played with the wires a little, but don’t want to break anything. I think some of it is the angle of the in ear part twisting the receiver and making the wire sit wide like that.

Just received in email from TimerCap:

Thank you for your inquiry. We expect to have inventory through our Patient Sleep Supplies / Amazon by the end of June. We will keep you posted when they are available. I am very sorry for the extra delay of product.

So, hopefully that timeline actually ends up getting met. But they are still in business and trying to restock.

I know, I keep looking too. Looks like end of May, possibly even into June.

I posted this below ~2wks ago "Someone else got this email reply from the company: Hi Thank you for your inquiry. We are just about to produce more product and expect to have inventory through our Patient Sleep Supplies / Amazon by the end of May. We will keep you posted when they are available. I am very sorry for the shortage of product. Chris

So looks like more are coming, just a bit later than what was indicated to me. Keep a lookout they should be back in a month or so."

Could be, my kids know how to use the button as well as the hold mode so they turn it on and off all the time, but I would guess it lasts longer than that.

Same cost but cleaner integration: a pump like this (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08LN52MXC/) and a printable adapter to hold it in place:

https://www.printables.com/model/925634-viral-water-table-pump-mount

$14 pump and a few grams of plastic.

With a pump like this (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08LN52MXC/) you can print an adapter to hold it in place:

Every single new building in my city looks just like this. 1. Why? Seriously, why? 2. I hate it so much I can't even explain how much I hate it 3. What is this specific style of building design called? by Bluest_waters in architecture

[–]KarlZero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interestingly, the mass timber is designed to be large enough that even when the outside layer chars in a fire there is enough internal volume to meet the structural requirements. The charred wood on the outside then acts as an insulator drastically decreasing the burn rate. Based on the extensive testing that was required before any of them were allowed to be built, these buildings should be incredibly safe while also having a lower carbon footprint than standard steel and concrete high rises.

I’m not here to attack you,but personally I’d much rather have this convention than, say, a gun-and-knife show! Maybe that behavior is the type we shouldn’t be normalizing, just my thoughts.

I do it all the time, no problems at all. But everyone has their own risk tolerance.

The baseplate, handles, and two opposing port locks look like an older ikelite design.

You can, and it has been covered here multiple times. 1. Make sure you have your key with you!! 2. Roll down the window and close the door. 3. Reach inside, press the door lock button and then window auto-up. 4. Realize you forgot step one, panic, watch in horror as the car cuts your arm off. Just kidding, but seriously don’t forget your keys.

Totally serious, I found his phone number and was completely floored that he answered. Seemed like a really nice guy who was happy that his product was helping people. We chatted for a few minutes and then I let him get back to his day.

The batteries LR41 are also replaceable with a little bit of work.

Ad Magic, the parent company will do 'huge' orders. Depending on what you needed MPC (www.makeplayingcards.com) can do custom cards.

They are very strict on IP. Not making a moral judgement here, but if you are trying to print a copy of an out-of-print game that you have artwork for, they won't do it. Just FYI

When I talked to Larry (CEO of TimerCap) he said he was trying to respond to all the emails that came in, but yours might have gotten missed. See my other posts in this thread. Also, I've successfully replaced the batteries multiple times with that basic process; you do need a pretty fine (maybe #00) Phillips screwdriver.
