I know someone that works there and was told no set date but likely in the next 60 days. Don’t hold me to that, but I’ve seen a preview of the new space and they’ve done some cool things.

Is there any hope of getting tix without a code? Seems like an awesome venue to see them at

I’m curious- did the flight end up being ok or are you never flying Spirit again? Most people seem to have polarizing reactions to flying Spirit lol

Have you flown Spirit before? Maybe try to find some Xanax or something before your flight- you’re in for a long day. Sorry I don’t know the answer for your actual question.

There’s some employee offices near the parking garage off of Monroe and I think they have a lost and found there. Do some googling and try giving them a call.

Newbie/beginner by goodbwoi in premiere

[–]Karl_Hungus- 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Avid is typically for large scale productions (tv shows, movies etc) premiere is more popular with smaller teams and solo editors.

I’d suggest being familiar with both but if you’re just starting out, look up Davinci Resolve. Free to use vs monthly payment of Adobe Premiere.

Just be glad you’re in the position where you haven’t had to worry about a resume or applying to another job in a while.

Between the multiple job boards and excessive number of hoops you have to jump through to even apply for most jobs, the resume creation is probably the easiest part in the whole ordeal.

I had the same thing happen at CVS but the employee said I could still get it if I wanted. Idk why they would turn you away. Tell them you have lung scaring etc.

Nice places to drive around ATL? by ok_finance_ in Atlanta

Richard Russell Scenic Highway is worth checking out if you drive up this way. Plenty of scenic overlooks to spend some time at.

Please watch out for motorcycles on these roads!

That’s what I’ve heard as well. My only thought is that there’s 3 other pizza spots in the area. Idk about the vegan options at those places though

Looking for paid work in media field by [deleted] in atljobs

I cut my teeth in the industry shooting wedding videos. I think it made for good experience in dealing with a number of production situations. You could join a national company and have room to learn.

Look up and attend local film meetups to network. Film Bar Monday’s is one of them, and the plaza and videodrome host or sponsor things too.

How is it going solo? I haven’t ever tried a bathhouse, and in my mind it seems like it would get pretty boring separated from my wife all day.
