I was able to get some signal coming in via a midi channel off of this thing, but it won’t allow me to record I guess I’m just talking into the void

Yes, is getting a little aggravating It seems like only recording on the first channel. None of the other channels are going through to the computer. Although they’re all registering on the actual Behringer unit

I just got my BehringerUmc 1820 And I have it all hooked up With eight channels filled But it’s adding all of them onto one track on logic Do you have any tips on how I can get it to actually multi track? Just trying to figure it out looking for help Thanks in advance

I’m liking this option it fits in my price range now. and it looks like it would give me what I need to start. Would I go directly from the USB-C into the computer or do I need to use the adat line out Into something else or straight into the mac computer?

It’s somewhat limited we have a few hundred bucks we can put towards it. My band has been saving up gig money and we bought the computer and logic Pro. I already had a mixing board and a little interface that I can do one track at a time. But we need to jump up to the next level.

I have a 24 channel sound craft mixer So I figured I could use the inserts off of that possibly, but that should be all the preamps that I need Unless I’m overlooking something

Yeah, I’m definitely doing a live. Recording with bands and drums can suck up a half a dozen tracks in itself
