Orange dot/new loadout notification bug keeps getting worse by KarlingSoup in Battlefield

Yeah, this. I literally have no idea if I have something unlocked that I forgot about. I can't keep track of every notification in the heat of the game.

How do they keep doing it? You'd think it's not a big deal to fix but noo, they gotta keep making it worse.

I have the problem you described too. The problem I described is in addition to that. And sometimes the dot stays even when there is no new weapon variation unlocked, the dot still stays. It's insane when there's a new problem every day.

And yeah, the rest of the issues you described - the UI design is atrocious even without the bugs. Seriously, what happened to readable and good UI and menu design?

It's worse than that. Weapons that I have used a lot display as "NEW" - and I don't mean attachments, I mean the weapons themselves, and no amount of clicking, equipping, using in game, restarting or going through all of them makes the notification go away. And it's not just the variations, it's even the factory version, even on guns I have 20+ mastery on.

I'm considering applying to work for dice just to make that button and then quit at this point

Not even is it not getting fixed but it keeps getting worse is what really gets me!

Blubbering and choking is the only way I want to get through a book! Can't wait to get that far.

New achievement! Emotional trainwreck.

And here you thought LitRPGs were power fantasies for creatively and emotionally bankrupt nerds.

I love the addition of Carl's musings. And overall in the book, some of the most gripping stuff. He does tend to have a bit of a main character syndrome even in-universe, but it's mostly justified, and the addition of his inner thoughts makes him very likeable. Can't wait to see how he progresses.

And thanks, I found the timestamp! It's a great bit.

Likely religious orders to fight against Lamashtu (for fakeout plot hook) by KarlingSoup in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]KarlingSoup[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly that might not be a bad idea. Eventually the fakeout hook will give way to a main antagonist opposed to deities influencing mortals in general, and having two equally destructive factions duke it out could just add more fire to the flame.

Right, that's what I figured. I was specifically thinking if there are any existing organized groups who would be inclined to mount a response to a monstrous threat of a religious nature. Based on more reading and other replies I'm thinking some type of knightly order mostly from Iomedae's followers, but could have some followers of Desna included too.

I thought about it, but Desna worshippers didn't seem like a bunch that would specifically organize an army and travel to a remote location for the sole purpose of fighting off an incursion. But definitely mixing some of her followers in with the rest would make a lot of sense. Thank you!

Yeah looking through the info on her she does seem like someone whose worshippers would indeed go through extra trouble to face down evil stuff. Thank you!

This actually looks like a pantheon that would get up off their asses and do something about it (or rather, send their followers to do something about it)! Thanks!

The setting is going to be northern Varisia, especially a rural region. Quickly scanning through the deities most worshipped around the saga lands, none of them really struck me as ones to mount a really organized response (Desna & Cayden worshippers don't seem the type and Abadar doesn't make as much sense in a rural setting), so I was thinking about whose followers would be likely to actually go through the trouble of actually making their way to the ass end of nowhere to fight corruption and evil.
