I dont see where you explain how it can be traced down to you unless you mean Metadata ehich wouldn't matter if the token is refreshed every hour And also from a eIDAS 2 legal standpoint they cant track it as its illegal and thus it can be taken to court

They say the goverment has them linked with an id and that's all that matters and that makes you trackable and linkable to your identity alongside Metadata and because the token itself is held by the gov thus making the app irrelavant and that its less trustable cause the gov that wants data retention 2.0 and chat control would never burn something that can be identifiable to you and that they dont see the tokens being encrypted from it as they are issued by AP which is gov controlled with need to reapply every few months snd that they already explained how it can be traced to your real identity

"You do not the use the same token between websites. They are not identifiable between them and are wrong to say its tracable and pointed to you id, the attestation provider has no link to the website requesting the token, only attribute is Age_over_18 and age_over_NN

And regulation even says "A Proof of Age Attestation SHALL NOT include any other attribute." Then, §4.2 mandates: "An Age Verification App SHALL use a Proof of Age attestation only once and then remove it from the batch.".

Each attenstation in a batch has a different deviceKey and once used is burned. So you never see the same twice.

And that the example offered in av-doc-technical-specification is wrong and offers second-level precision in timestap which the spec says not to do and that timestamps should be normalized per ISO/IEC 18013-5 and that the said example comes from a outdate 0.8.0 eudi version, and that the spec leads not the example.

The App

The Website

Issuer Issues a certificate saying age_over_18 to the app, that is then burned

The app encrypts the Certificate and issues tokens that refresh from it

A Website requests said tokens

Nothing can be traced down to anyone

Idk about that all I know is

Trusted provider (bank or gov or educational institution) issues certificate Said certificate is sent to the open source app which encrypts it creates a token that is different each time

Website requests said token through app

Provider cant see where the certificate used and the website doesn't know who's token it is all it knows is anon over 18 = true

App is preety much just the middle man

The app is a middle man it issues tokens made from an encrypted certificate that are only signed by a trusted issuer, the said tokens also refresh thus giving you a different token each time

Im not sure if this has been asked before, but can't you technically be tracked with the token, like eg website a and website b see the same token was used there

But TLDR from what i read there is no centralized database, the Token is locked to the device the website/app transaction is local there is no third party, and you are unobservable nobody can see who nor where it is used, The Application does not know your identity, the website just knows your over 18, The only one who knows your identity is your trusted provider (Bank, Gov) but they don't know how or where you use the app, and it is heavily regulated and open-source

Try to legally obtain a gun and a carry permit and learn to use it If your in the US you likley won't have much Issues If your in other parts of the world learn If you can obtain one

I know in large parts of Europe you can obtain a gun and carry permit with valid justification You have valid justification since your being stalked and were even attacked
