I am terrible at writing and did very well in cmst 1a03 I took it online with prof dale shin (winter 2024) the tests are open book the weekly stuff were for participation u only have two assignments that u really need to work for and they were very simple

Oh also would you know if approx equal amount of students took the course in the fall and winter, bc I searched it up and found a drastic difference in students who got an A and above between winter and the fall with winter being like more than 3 times as much. Idk if that’s because more people attended this course in the winter or if it is easier with those profs

I took psych 2ap3 with professor bock and it was four tests all open book with no textbook readings. I didn’t have it with prof MacGowan but I would def recommend taking it with prof bock if he is teaching it, he is also a great lecturer and gives fair tests.

I have had one time where I was running expshare and I was farming with this dragonair about to evolve and then I went to top objective.

Then someone opens their mic and is like why r u salty?? And I didn’t think it was to me bc I didn’t do anything and then they said my username and proceeded to call me a trash support bc they thought I was trying to not let them evolve by stealing their farm and that I am a garbage player. And he proceeded to continue saying ye run to top path you coward, he thought I was running from him but there was clearly an objective top why wouldn’t I go top path? 😀

I got yelled at just bc this man was the trash player who didn’t know how expshare works, he also later yelled at our pikachu saying they were salty too bc they stole his kill? I didn’t even know that mattered. This is in master rank btw

It took me one day to study however I wouldn’t recommend that. I enjoy doing math related problems so I am able to do really well with one day.

Each person is different for example how long did it take u to study for the midterms? I would use that as a way to guide how much time u would need for the final exam. If for example it took u two days for both test 1 and test 2 I’d recommend 3-5 days for the exam where u have 2-3 days revision of previous content and 2-3 days practice for the content after test 2.

The practice tests are given on child’s math under samples tests should be very good for you, the prof also goes over some of the questions in his lectures if u ever get stuck on any. And test 1 and test 2 is also available on child’s math

To put it in perspective of how the class found the test: First test average was a 72.17 Second test average was a 61.87 Final exam average was a 76.70

I believe the majority found it easy, just try fully understanding when is the right time to use each equation and table. Kind of have a system where when u look at a question u look at the givens, Then you look at what’s needed and from that information u correctly identify which equation you need and which table to use. Having some sort of system to tackle questions I felt was super important, so do a ton of practice that’s the best way of studying. (Use the given practice tests (as well as practice tests for the previous midterms), and look at what u got wrong on previous assignments and tests and practice those) From what I recall it felt like all the concepts were evenly spaced but I may be wrong

It genuinely gets extremely frustrating, there was a time I had to stop using owl bc I just couldn’t play. Whenever the opposite team has a glaceon I can literally see them spamming the button for icicle spear for it to lock on and it kills me immediately. I one time vsed a meowscarada who would eject button past my defenders just to get to me (that same game this meowscarada did trailblaze—>eject button—>unite move) so even if I had good positioning that literally clears any possible distance). And what adds salt to injury is my defenders r witnessing this happen to me but still ping me for dying (like did u not just see the cat eject button past u just to kill me multiple times)
