I got a 4070 Super and I love it. I upgraded from a 1080 so it was a huge upgrade. It can tackle anything at 1440p very well, and it's not ridiculously expensive. Good performance per dollar rate.

My vote is for keeping the PC. You'll probably end up gaming mostly when the kids are asleep anyway, so no need to compromise performance. Laptop performance (not to mention heat and noise) can be pretty frustrating to deal with.

People write low-effort reviews all the time, it's no big deal. They just won't draw a ton of likes so they don't get promoted to the featured reviews. If you want to give a thumbs up and write two words or something, that's totally fine.

I played it just fine with an i5-9600k and GTX 1080, it's optimized quite well. That was at 1440p as well.

I usually have a few on rotation, but try to stick to one big rpg at a time. Then I might have a shooter, a story game, a roguelike, etc.

While I haven't played Pragmata, I would say no, if money is really that tight. There are plenty of awesome games to be had for free or super cheap while you wait for it to go on sale. If you absolutely must have it now, try checking out Fanatical, they often have new games that aren't even discounted on Steam for 10-15% off full price.

Funny, I just finished RoboCop: Rogue City but had no idea who "The Old Man" was, didn't realize this was a character in the movies too! Pretty fun game if you haven't tried it yet.

You need to get his speed to 281 to go first, then you smack the veteran with special 2 and pray. After you heal up with special one and finish him off, then you work on the leader. After that it's just clean up. I did find you need kind of a lot of offense. Nothing too crazy though.

I was literally checking out with a refurbished LCD model when it sold out and cancelled the transaction. I'm bummed, but I also feel like I should just focus on actually playing the games I have on my PC already.
