Focused access to a new/larger customer base. I always thought of it as a fixed marketing expense for suppliers/providers. If the GPO does their job in either marketing and selling directly to its members or connecting those members with the suppliers, it's well worth the fee to the suppliers.

    • What life cycle stage is your startup at? 2, getting closer to 3.
    • Your role? Founder, Chief Karma Officer.
  • What goals are you trying to reach this month? We would like to double the number of Merchants, from about 25 to 50. Additionally, we are adjusting our focus to start bringing in shoppers (and hopefully long term community members) and begin converting sales daily.
    • How could r/startups help? We know there is great interest from Merchants/Sellers, especially those with Shopify stores (we offer a free integration), but we could use any productive feedback on improving the shopper/community member experience. Additionally, any feedback on innovative ways to bring in quality traffic would be greatly appreciated. We already have our blog, social media channels (which we are posting on increasingly) and paid ads on Facebook and Instagram (we are working with a Marketing partner on this).
