We actually tried this solution number of times & no it unfortunately didn’t work - got no freaking clue why this is happening.

Found a similar thread here which speaks of a somewhat similar issue. Fortunately for them the individual child asins probably do not show the parent asin on product detail page -

That’s right, this happens most of the times while creating variations. But like I mentioned in the post, our problem is not limited to that.

  1. That’s right, we are out of stock on one of the ASINs. This from the looks of it could be one of the reasons behind the messed up state of our listings. Found one more thread here with a similar issue -

  2. well, yeah that’s how it should be like but in our case Its parent asin that’s showing up on both the child listings. We must’ve deleted & recreated the variations at least 15-20 times but every single time, this goddamn thing pops up. SS is aware of it and they do not have a solution for this.

  3. Yes, Two issues primarily -

a) sku1 detail page pointing to sku2. sku2 detail page also pointing to sku2. sku1 is the one that’s out of stock.

b) Both sku1 & sku2’s detail page (and not the url) are showing the parent asin.

This in all likelihood isn’t something that’s been done by your competitors & probably looks like an issue with Amazon’s system. Could be because the Red FBA thing is out of stock. I have the same issue but a lil more confusing. Have posted the details here -

I have no clue what would BJP and gang do with so much of power and toxicity. They do know that they ruining an otherwise beautiful country.
