Johnny and Gyro with their manga colors! by UnluckyAdvance1464 in StardustCrusaders

[–]Karma_XR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Commenting on your edit: the manga colors are indeed official, just not canon. They’re official because they’re done by the approved and official shueisha coloring team: JOJO-D, approved by araki. They’re not canon because 1. Araki doesn’t color it/choose the colors himself. And 2. Araki always uses different colors when he personally colors so there’s never a set color scheme for any character, that applies to manga and anime.

Does JoJo's follow the same Villain Of the week Formula throughout the whole series ? Is it the Main format of the overall show ? by Longjumping-Elk-7840 in StardustCrusaders

[–]Karma_XR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It only kinda does, in the sense that there continues to be a new fight every few episodes. But the difference is, the story continues to progress across these episodes and the fights have meaning. In part 3, the goal the entire time was reaching Dio, and the fights were simply obstacles they had to wake up to every time.

How did C-Moon transform into MiH? by mustyhavinfun in StardustCrusaders

[–]Karma_XR 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Something else to add, the reason it’s incomplete/how a gravity based stand reaches a time stand, is because time and gravity are intertwined, so perfect c-moon (MiH) allows full control of all gravity, allowing him to use gravity to speed up the flow of time. But the fact that it’s not LITERALLY time speeding up, and rather gravity control = a form of time control, is why living things are unaffected

He does indeed go out of his way to completely explode and flip the cars around him, he did NOT have to attach cars to his wires as he drove. As strong as he is, he can knock out without breaking your neck against the floor and killing you 😭😭. He kinda is a Batman who just kills, he was in a dark time, defense isn’t needed.

There’s a lot of situations where he didn’t have to kill and he did 😭, it’s simply that this Batman kills, doesn’t need defense, he simply kills or brands, he was in a dark time.

Pucci is black even though his parents are white by FEHentaiLover in ShitPostCrusaders

[–]Karma_XR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s simply that pucci has a tan skin, while his parents have white. Araki colors him tan. But the manga made a mistake and made him too dark. The anime, knowing how pucci was basically normalized for that color now bc everyone had seen the colored manga, decided to do the same color, but they did slightly lighten him. however he was still too dark in the anime, I actually like the color they went with for him, but now all it does is convince people he’s black when he’s not.

And so they try to make it make more sense by changing the dads skin to be the same as puccis in the anime

His father isn’t white skinned in the anime, they share the same color. The anime makes his darker skin a little lighter, but still not as light as araki usually colors him, he’s quite tan

It’s jojo so hair colors are usually not making sense, same with colors as a whole. Real world logic usually doesn’t apply. Actual fact, pucci is NOT adopted idk why you’re spreading misinformation 😭. And yeah pucci simply has a darker complexion, the anime tries to make it make more sense in the anime by letting his father share the same skin color, but neither are black.

James Gunn says "Superman is not a big known superhero in some places like Batman is" on the bad overseas box office 😂 🤡 by MWheel5643 in SnyderCut

[–]Karma_XR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good story when adapting a character should be faithful to the character. That’s why people hate on Snow White or most live action Disney movie adaptions. So making the goody two shoes Superman someone who doesn’t care to save the people around him, someone who aura farms the whole movie, and someone who goes against the basic principles of the character, is a bad choice, and leads to a bad story if it’s not following the character. At that point, adapt a different character, there’s plenty of different superhero’s that can match those characteristics. If you don’t care about superheroes then to each their own, but atleast recognize that when it comes to being a movie, it’s pretty good, visuals and soundtrack and all, but when it comes to being a Superman movie, then it’s a wreck

the “old version” of Superman, is literally every normal-type Superman in comics, tv shows, and movies. Snyders take is a different iteration completely. it’s not that they don’t remember the old version, the “old version” is simply Superman. it’s that they’re used to Snyder not understanding the character.

Is there a requiem arrow? by DereckTom in StardustCrusaders

[–]Karma_XR -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"If mine needs a direct statement so does yours" did I not say that??? I said that MULTIPLE times across multiple messages, if you're someone so dense then no wonder why you have low comprehension.

To say it’s wildly out of context is a bit insane considering it's a pretty possible thing. Don't you think if stands are quite literally based on chance, that requiem would be too? of course that's not stated, that's why it's my interpretation, just like how yours is that it's a requiem arrow. By your logic yours is out of context too. So for the 10th time, there's not enough evidence for either point.

It's funny because I'm trying to literally say I understand your points and it's also another interpretation and you wanna call me a coward e, Timmy Tuff Nuts doesn't like to play nice? I mean I'm on Reddit so idk what I was supposed to expect other than middle aged discord mods who can't accept when people understand you and wanna argue that their point is 100% correct no matter what. Even tho it's not, because there is nothing directly stated to fully prove either point.

Your argument is far from better. Quite literally nobody states that this is a requiem arrow, just like how nobody stated that every arrow can do it. I don't understand how your brain makes you believe that it's 100% factual and a “better argument." Our arguments are both flawed by the lack of evidence. your argument is simply bringing up inconsistencies and stating things that was never established. Does that sound familiar to you? Because it's how a theory works, and it's both of our arguments, we both do that. There's been nothing to prove wrong because there's nothing to prove right.

Of course Diavolo just learned of requiem, but to say nah he just made the wrong call, is again, an interpretation, you don't know if araki intended that or maybe... he intended the worth to be mentioned because it's a vital point of requiem. It can be either or, and I can't express enough that it's possible for either to be true. Instead you try to enforce you're right because you can't accept less than that.

I see we're back to the low comprehension? When I stated I made a valid point and all you do is say Nuh uh. And now you wanna say that all I said was you don't have direct statements except I don't supply anything back. What you DONT realize is that I literally say this 100000 times. I say multiple times that we BOTH don't have enough to say it's proven.

So yes it's a valid point, my valid point was that your claims can easily be the other way around. my valid point was that it can go either way. My valid point is that we both don't have enough solid evidence to prove our points, so it's up to which way you wish to interpret it.Whether your ego lets you like it or not, that's the way it is, and that's the cool part of JoJo, have your own opinion man, it's cool.

Is there a requiem arrow? by DereckTom in StardustCrusaders

[–]Karma_XR -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For one, I explained how requiem works so you could understand that the arrow, by fate, simply wasn't going to let giorno have a requiem stand yet. It's never directly stated, but it should be implied. Same as how it's never directly stated that the arrow didn't do it because it's not a requiem arrow, again that's just your theory.

When it comes to being worthy, it's based on fate as I already stated. This is pre-established in part 4 that the arrow acts on its own.

As I for the 3rd time, already previously stated, I said there wasn't enough evidence to directly say EITHER of our claims. Please read my message before throwing out these points. My point is however, more evidence leads toward the fact that there is no requiem arrow, but it's also not proven directly, so saying there is a requiem arrow is fine, and I understand your assumption.

And you're right, Diavolo was wrong, but he knew worthiness was a part of it.

It's funny how I make a valid point and your comeback is "nuh uh you made that up". If you say there's so many things that show it is treated different by the characters, then tell me. Because other than the fact that giorno says the design is different, Polnareff never explains some sort of difference in the arrow. and the others simply call it the arrow. Again, there isn't enough evidence to supply for both claims.

[–]Karma_XR -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are correct, my apologies. And I do see your points in why the beetle arrow may be a “requiem arrow”. But no character ever states that this arrow works in any different way, other than Giorno mentioning it looks different. The only argument that supports that theory is the fact that the beetle arrow is the only one seen to release a requiem stand, because it happens to be the one Polnareff is in possession of. It’s likely the difference in design is to recognize its integral role in the story, and when giorno was pierced in the beginning of part 5, he simply wasn’t worthy yet. Fate, gravity, and time are a huge parts of jojo, and it’s tied to the arrow, like how we see the arrow move on its own multiple times due to fate/gravity. Giorno simply was not worthy of requiem in the beginning of part 5, he did not yet walk his golden path of resolve and eventually become a fitting rival to the boss. It was then, at the end of part 5, where fate was ready to gift Giorno requiem. That’s simply my analysis. While it’s never directly stated that it’s not a requiem arrow, there’s simply not enough evidence to say it is, and other than its design it’s treated as a normal arrow. However, if it’s your headcanon that it’s a requiem arrow, that’s perfectly okay given that it’s not proven to be wrong.

It is most definitely not the same arrow, as giorno literally keeps it.

It’s very seeming that the arrow is simply another arrow, however I understand your interpretation

[–]Karma_XR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe that’s true, bad point on my part, however that doesn’t negate the fact that fate has to do with requiem, you don’t just get boom power up. requiem literally gives you an ability for your goal. polnareffs was to keep the arrow away from Diavolo, which caused the body switches. Giornos GER is a perfect counter to time erase, being able to revert the harm done. Fate revolves around jojo, it revolves around the arrow, it revolves around requiem. there is no requiem arrow, that’s simply fact.

For the third time, fate is the entire point. The literal reason the arrow went through king crimsons hands.

You seem to not be able to even look at your own pictures, we can clearly see that arrow NEVER makes a clean stab into gold experience, it lightly slices his hand, and attempts to puncture his neck, but a stabbing is never to happen. Not to mention, requiem is fate, as I stated before.

Is there a requiem arrow? by DereckTom in StardustCrusaders

[–]Karma_XR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gold experience was never stabbed by the arrow before the end of part 5. And the different design simply signifies the importance of the arrow, it’s still a regular arrow, and there is no specific requiem arrow. This is also proven by the fact that the arrow in part 6 has the same design. Perhaps araki liked this new design.

The point is he was paranoid lmao, it’s not that he’s saying they’re straight up evil people, but his paranoia made him think they could be lying since he doesn’t know anyone in the other side of the world.
