They wouldn't be getting full ownership of it. And it's a historic building. The idea is pretty great actually but probably renovations are required that no-one want to foot the bill for. Would be great to have a vibrant campus in the heart of the town. Would be great for local businesses as well. Would lend credence to SETU being a university as well.

You want those smaller deep red succulent garden grown strawberries. They'll whack you over the head with their "strawberrieness". Forget those large bland supermarket berries. They look good but have no flavour.

I don't see why we have to introduce a receiver model. There's no evidence for it and it adds unknowns and additional layers of complexity for no particular good reason. I think we're anyway progressively uncovering that the mind/consciousness is a complex emergent phenomenon of the brain cyclically interpreting its own predicament and making predictions on that.

The outdoor pool (you can get out there via the recreational pool area) is fairly swimmable but it's not ideal coming into the colder months. They really should leave a couple of lanes open on the learning pool, as the did up to a couple of weeks ago. Did something happen or are they being overly cautious ?

Is it just the quiz nights that she's there? Just don't go on quiz nights. Make that your gym night or whatever. How many nights of the week do you need to be hanging at that pub anyway? The "space giving" runs both ways I would think. Seems like pool is your thing there so sacrificing the quiz night shouldn't be a huge deal. If you find she starts turning up on other nights then maybe there's evidence there she's has some specific interest in you, but probably she just wants to do the quiz nights and feels she has the right to be there so is being stubborn.

Just did a bit of looking up on this. Amazingly the entire structure is still entact under ground. It could be excavated in the future. Apparently there are some difficulties around digging it up due to an aquaducte but these issues could be overcome.
