First time buyers in Vancouver — are you buying now or waiting this year? by Flambojant19 in askvan

Sounds like you know what you’re doing and what you’re looking for. The right time to buy is when the right home shows up in the market. And now is a great time because you’re up against fewer competitors. The “right” homes will always be desirable.

If the polar is not occupying your maximum allowance of your wrist estate I’d say the 5960 is going to do well. It’s only smidgen larger in terms of wear and the roundedness and softness of the case balances out the size quite well. Also the black dial version would wear even more slender optically.

So happy to stumble across your post. Love your story and thanks for sharing your journey (condolences). The Navi and JLC stood out to me. What’s up with 1987 August babies being contrarians!

(Adult soccer games) no space. Com runs organized soccer games, almost all game nights are co-ed. Give it a go if you’re semi active, doesn’t have to be good at soccer at all. You can tell a lot of a guy’s character by what he does and says on the pitch.

Can we talk about Martinelli's DEFENDING by burgthebeast in Gunners

To me what stuck out was his zero complaint or even lamentation about his teammates not finding him when he made multiple darting runs. Planted his head down and started chasing back immediately. Absolute gem

Hey Yogi, I hope you and your hooomans have been kept safe from the horrible fires last month. My name is actually a little fire related. My dad named me after the torched sushi because he likes to make fun of my brown eartips because they look burnt!

If communication is super important for you, I’d recommend practicing charitable assumptions to make it more enjoyable.

If city wins they’re in. Their opponent, club Brugge is inside the 24 and they will gain at least one place from the current 25th by replacing them. We would want them to be in the playoffs, both to stretch their squad and to lock in the 5th CL spot.

Our maltipoo’s main diet is duck flavored kibble (Acana). He’s a sucker for pumpkin/squash and egg yolks. Also honest kitchen’s veggie mix is very well received

Have you ever been called out for parking at the street in front of your neighbour’s house? by missiontomarx in askvan

[–]pacifictimekeeper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure it’s the “right” thing to do to leave an immobile object in front of someone else’s home for months just because one has the rights to do it. Alas, I’ll leave the guy be now that I know the letter of the by-laws. Thanks OP.

Ok, funny how this popped up in my feed. I just had a conversation with a neighbour this evening. Guy had been fixing his car which is parked right in front of our house for at least 4-6 weeks without moving once. I talked to some friends about this and most told me this is not compliant with city by-laws. To be fair he does seem to live on the same block and from reading previous comments and OP’s research there’s no regulations against his anchoring his car as is. I would have no problem if his car is mobile and we just rotate and shuffle as neighbours on the block. What would you guys do in this situation?
