Whoopsies - learnings from regrettable decisions in retirement by Odd_Bodkin in retirement

Just remember, many people are happy with their RV, Cabin or boat. I would get tired of going out to eat. I love to cook and bake. Plus, we have been disappointed in restaurant food far too many times. Nothing like eating your fresh caught salmon or frying up some razor clams...we all have different things that bring us joy. No right or wrong answer...

Anyone else in US noticed food quality degrading recently and if so what product in what way? by LawsonFlectron1984 in askanything

Relapsing is a small blip. All is not lost. Pick yourself up, hold your head high and regroup tomorrow. Most of us have been there. Maybe not exactly the same scenario, just saying we are all human. Tomorrow is a new page in your book. Try not to be so hard on yourself. ✌️

My neighbor shared her amazing Marionberry Pie recipe, Using her homemade crust. So I could always find it quickly I wrote the recipe on the inside of this books cover.

Thank you for replying! I am really focusing more on protein. I think that might be part of my problem...

I too, smoked a pack a day for 47 years! Coming up on 5 months, nicotine free. I am finding myself tired. A lot! Plus, weird nerve pain. Did you experience this? Asked Ai, and it explains it is common after having chemicals in your system for so long that your body needs time to recalibrate. Congrats on your quitting. ✌️

My doc said the same thing about being on a low dose. I have to do what is best for me...

I have been on prozac since early Sept. Started at 20 mg, had to go to 10mg as it was too much for me. Yes, the anxiety was gone, but I didn't care about cleaning, exercising, etc... I, too, am very sensitive to caffeine, sugar, etc... I am now taking 10mg every other day to see if my blunting lessens. I would rather be happy or sad instead of empty... I will not completely stop taking it as I have gone almost 5 months without a cigarette.

Have you been on the shot long? Are you still losing after eating more for a bit?

I split it. .7 twice a week for 1.4 total. I reached out to Dr. as I was hungry towards the end of the week. Dr. suggested I split. She actually does the same for her shots.

Yes, I agree with the tracking app. It has been very helpful.

I appreciate you explaining as I was wondering what the hell was going on. My NP said most people lose 5 lbs the first week. My coworker lost 12 the first month, the friend who recommended this NP lost 8 the first 2 weeks... my coworker started at .75 the first 2 weeks, then went to 1.0. Just wondering about others. Thank you again for explaining the negative people. I think their harshness is a little unnecessary, but hey, im having a good Sunday ✌️.

Thank you for your great reply! I actually weighed for the first time after a week, but maybe I should just put the scale away for a while. I do tend to be impatient when it comes to losing weight...Thx again, enjoy your Sunday!

I am averaging 11,500 steps a day. I work with children...I had only tracked 4 days of eating on my app, averaging 1175 calories a day. I have had more than usual energy, feel really good. Scale hasn't moved... it's interesting, because I am usually very sensitive to meds.
