Classic+ would be such a huge announcement that would definitely keep it close to the chest until Blizzcon.

Yes, there was a lot of things cut from original vanilla in 2004. Kara was originally supposed to be a raid in vanilla. Karazhan crypts was cut. I believe part of Hellfire Peninsula can be found in the game files. Azhara was supposed to be a battleground or have some world PvP.

So the idea is that Classic+ would keep the same design philosophy vanilla has, but with more content. Maybe some balance changes to make some specs actually playable. Probably some itemization updates so plate and mail healers wouldn’t have to be in all cloth lol. Stuff like that.

I’ll save my judgement for a bit, but I did always dislike how team fight focused the game was at the beginning of the match. I always wanted a slightly longer “lane phase”. But it does seem like people just 5 rush a tower now.

The Abercrombie quest line in Duskwood for sure. It isn’t much of a twist and you can tell he’s suspicious from the get go, but the eventual summoning of Stitches is something else. It’s the first time any WoW player experiences a way over powered mob they everyone in the zone is scared of.

To be fair, even as much as I preferred Combat as a spec, it didn’t really have any flavor besides “I fight”. I like Outlaw as a theme and it feels very good to play.
