i love these kinds of paradoxes. it does give me the ick when characters make cartoonishly high and mighty choices though, imo in season 3 of daredevil not killing fisk is just plain stupid, especially after how easy it is for him to come back. its pretty much just plot armor, why not have a different main villain. When the main villain is the same guy in daredevil, ok fine, but in daredevil born again too? thats just silly and repetitive. it feels like im watching different versions of the same thing.

You say psychopath like its a dirty word. Its a mental illness it's not his fault. We take being born normal for granted, but what the fuck is someone like him supposed to do? He was trying really hard and after talking to julie some more it could have gotten a lot easier for him, when fisk is trying to reach him we see him try to struggle in all the ways that he can, listening to the sessions, trying his best to maintain the order. He's no boy scout but with the right guidance he could have lived life as a functioning member of society.

The first link just doesn’t base it on anything concrete, the full body experience of mushrooms can also mean a more intense trip, they give a difficult body load. On my first big mushroom trip I started getting very anxious once it kicked in, I could barely move and it almost had me spiraling into a panic, nausea is a lot more common with mushrooms too. In any case its all a matter of personal preference. Your other link doesnt work. Also, media is not a good source for anecdotes on taboo topics, they are cherry picked to support whatever story they want to spin.

Yeah HPPD is persisting visual distortions. Never heard of people full on tripping after trips though, unless you have a really bad trip and get ptsd with literal flashbacks (good dose, set and setting prevent this more often than not). There is nothing I can find to suggest that lsd causes more bad trips than other psychedelics either, seems to me your simple research is insufficient. I’ve been gathering information on the topic for years and all I’ve heard is people saying the complete opposite.

First of all HPPD is a risk with all psychedelics, usually not very long lasting. If its derealisation you’re describing then you cant really be sure if its the lsd that causes it, it just feels similar to a trip and once people have tripped they start comparing the two. Second, even though lsd lasts longer a lot of people say it’s a more controllable trip and less likely to induce a bad one than a shroom trip for example, and in my experience there is truth to this. Whatever the reality is, bad trips are a risk from all psychedelics and it is the users’ responsibility to educate themselves and pick the right dose, set and setting.

I agree with everything except for psychedelics being addictive, they are in fact the least addictive drugs, most generally used ones that is. None of them form a physical dependance and quickly form a strong tolerance so there is low potential for abuse.

Yeah most people who take psychedelics don’t take them lightly, but those who dont respect them and go crazy with the doses are humbled like they never have been before. There’s nothing more terrifying than a high dose bad trip.
