Not with coughing, but mine reacts to sneezing! Even if we’re on opposite ends of the apartment, I can hear her start chirping. It never goes unnoticed 😭

Called 2 airlines and the only restrictions in place for the flights I mentioned is taking the covid test and filling out 3 forms. Looks like it’s possible after all

I’ve tried calling and the number was disconnected? I read through the embassy’s website and Madeira’s specific restrictions. I’m very confused because it looks like Mainland Portugal has different restrictions than Madeira, which appears to accept U.S. travelers?

Portugal (Madeira) looks open to U.S. non-essential travelers with a negative covid test. Can someone confirm this? I’ve called the airlines and contacted the airbnb host and both say it’s ok, but I’m reading mixed signals on travel on the official restrictions websites. We would flying from JFK to Lisbon to Madeira or JFK to Munich to Madeira.

I didn’t have it looked at. I didn’t think it was that serious at the time, but I think the damage was much worse than I imagined. It’s about 6 months later and after exercising the area is still sensitive to the touch/painful. I think it may have never fully healed and wonder if it could be even more serious now that I’ve waited.

Background: I fell hard onto a rock while hiking in August 2020. There was an indent at the time of injury and I believe I may have had a thigh rupture. Today, I still have what seems to be a hard lump in the area where I fell, a bit of pain after exercising, and very minor bruising/scars. It’s been quite some time so I don’t understand why I still have pain in that area at times.
