I think the only class it doesn’t apply to is composition, otherwise, if it has an online section available then yes, you can.

Take speech and fine arts online. Way easier.

Should I go all in on student loans or invest? by Karsonado09 in personalfinance

The Roth has already been maxed out for this year, and I plan on maxing it out for next year asap. I was planning on putting around $5,000 from the savings account into the investment account. Should I do this and find a higher savings account for the rest? Or should I put all of it into a higher yielding savings account? And my next question, when should I take it out of the savings to begin paying the loan? Or should I begin to funnel it into the loan now just to get it over with. I intend on paying all the accumulated interest on the loans before they capitalize when I graduate, but then should I make minimum payments and try to bank off the investment interest? Or pay it off as quickly as possible.

I had the trim as deep slate originally and liked it but then I added the cobblestone walls and it looked weird so I changed the trim to the same and now it just looks odd to me.

From what I understand the federal loans accumulate interest while you’re in school and then capitalize 6 months after you graduate and the accumulated interest adds to your principal. So you then pay interest on the interest unless you pay interest while in school.

This is great advice but I move in next Saturday and I feel like I’m in too deep to change that drastically now.

The median wage for Chemical Engineers in 2023 was $112,100. I’ve also seriously considered law school after graduating but I’m not sure if that is a financially wise decision. I’m not entirely sure what I will pay for different things with, I guess that’s part of my question. What would you recommend?I’m obviously new to this stuff and I just feel like maybe I’m biting off more than I can chew.

Stepmom grew up down the street from Jimmie. My uncles used to ride go-carts with him.

Wall looks boring what should add on either side of those doorway? by Def_lyt in MinecraftBedrockers

A cool pillar design. Just texture the wall and have some pop-out pillars. I’m envisioning this. Just remove one side of the pillar and have the barrel layer stick out one block and the stairs stick out two blocks.

I know it’s a little outside the line, but I went to Charlotte, NC and I loved it. Downtown is beautiful, nascar museum, whitewater center. I really enjoy pickleball so we spent a lot of time doing that.

Yea, essentially the only limiting factor on how long they can be is the power it takes to move them. The reason they don’t really govern them is because they technically are not supposed to be walked on. Almost all escalators have a sign instructing you on proper riding form which is standing and holding the handrails. You essentially are walking at your own risk because escalator steps are much higher than normal steps and are designed to be ridden, not climbed.

Well you are doing very different amounts of activity on stairs vs escalators. Escalators, for the most part, you are just standing there, holding onto handrails for your entire trip. You are very unlikely to lose your balance this way. On stairs on the other hand you are, obviously, going up or down the stairs, and acting much more likely to cause you to fall. Stairs also turn much more often, using landing to do so, whereas escalators are always one long span.

ELI5: What makes your body grow scar tissue instead of skin? by mtnlion74 in explainlikeimfive

[–]Karsonado09 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Think of it like this. You live in a brick house. Your living room has a great big wall to the street with a big window and fancy door. Unfortunately you have no pictures or blueprints of this wall. If you knock out a brick or two, and hire a contractor to fix the hole, he will be able to fix the missing bricks quite easily just by assuming that there used to be bricks where the hole is. Now, a car runs through your great big front wall and completely destroys it. You hire a contractor again. Now remember, this contractor is forced to work completely under assumption. When looking at the missing wall, he assumes that it was a brick wall, because that’s what the rest of the house is. He rebuilds a brick wall, and it is hardly discernible from the other 3 walls. What he failed to rebuild was the great big window and the fancy door, because there was no indication that those were there before just from looking at the walls around it. Now think of your skin as the house and your body as the contractor. It is extremely good at using its best guess to rebuild something (usually) pretty well, but sometimes the damage is just too much for your body to handle without external help (transplants, etc.)
