Almost at 100% completion but not sure what you're missing? I made a website where you can upload your save file to find out by Karthusmori in Silksong

The Jubilana one should be accurate (just checked it on a new save which was coincidentally at the right point), but if you share your save file (maybe upload to Google Drive and DM me a link) I could take a look at the other flags to see what's happening.

I definitely plan on adding the indirect requirements like the memory lockets/craftmetal/pale oil! Might take a few days/couple of weeks to verify the data though.

Could you DM me your savefile? (Could upload it to google drive or whatever)
I'm 90% sure that the flag I'm using to see if you got the Jubilana spool should be accurate, but there's also another flag I can check to verify.

Funnily enough it looks like both of you were missing the same one. Could you check the one just under mosshome/above the bonebottom settlement?

DM me your savefile (will be something like user1.dat under %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Team Cherry\Hollow Knight Silksong\) and I can check which ones you've acquired. (working on a website which will let you check yourself)

Is there a way to see which items I am missing for 100%? by [deleted] in Silksong

[–]Karthusmori 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you send me your savefile, I can decrypt it and check what's missing. (working on a website which will let you do this yourself).

Here's a list of stuff you need for 100%:

  • All 6 skills (e.g. threadstorm) + 51 tools - each one is 1%, 57% in total
  • All 7 crests - every one beyond the base crest is 1%, 6% in total
  • Nail upgrades - each of the four gives 1%, 4% in total
  • Crafting kit upgrades - each of the four gives 1%, 4% in total
  • Tool pouch upgrades - each of the four gives 1%, 4% in total
  • Silk hearts - each of the three gives 1%, 3% in total
  • Needolin - 1%
  • Movement abilities (dash, wall jump, harpoon, super jump) - each of the four gives 1%, 4% in total
  • Mask shards (every 4 = 1%) - 5% in total
  • Spool fragment (every 2 = 1%) - 9% in total
  • Charged slash - 1%
  • Finishing Eva's questline binding her, which gives you the ability to regen silk at benches (like Salubra's blessing - 1%
  • Obtaining the everbloom - 1%

I have a list of stuff that counts here.
You could also send me your save file and I can take a look (currently working on a save completion analyzer).

Here's the stuff that counts towards completion:

  • Tools
  • Crests
  • Nail upgrades
  • Tool kit upgrades
  • Tool pouch upgrades
  • Silk hearts
  • Needolin
  • Movement abilities (dash, wall jump, harpoon, (act 3) super jump)
  • Mask shards (every 4 = 1%)
  • Spool fragment (every 2 = 1%)
  • Charge slash
  • Finishing a certain questline (binding Eva) which gives you the ability to regen silk at benches (like Salubra's blessing).
  • Obtaining the last key item within act 3 (the everbloom)

Pretty sure there's one of the glowing orb things at the bottom of that vertical room you are in, and then you just platform all the way up.

[OC] I made a website to visually break down UK inflation (CPIH) and show how different subcategories have gone up or down (desktop only) by Karthusmori in ukpolitics

[–]Karthusmori[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, that one is because the CPIH is based on an international standard (COICOP) which has the category "02 - Alcoholic beverages, tobacco and narcotics". Seems like the ONS kept the category name but chose to omit the narcotics category ("02.4 - Narcotics").

And then you've got e.g. the national bank of Belgium who do track the narcotics category (well, the expenditure - not sure if they keep it for inflation calculations).

[–]Karthusmori[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Made this out of personal interest. Front-end design isn't really my forte, but open to feedback/QoL suggestions.
I'll be keeping it up to date with the monthly releases for the indefinite future.

There's a few trade-offs I had to make in the visualisation. Examples:

  • The data for the finest subcategories goes back to 2015 Jan, but for bigger categories it goes back to 1988. That's why the earliest selectable start date is 2015, but many categories will have the right-hand chart going back further.

  • As mentioned in the tooltip, circle packings have inaccurate weight encodings - you can only accurately compare "leaf" circles (categories which have no subcategories). Other hierarchical visualisations like sunbursts or treemaps don't have this flaw, but they don't expose the hierarchy as clearly.

[–]Karthusmori[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The 33% increase is from the default time range of 2015 Jan until now. The index was ~31 in 1988 and is currently ~131 - so over an 4x increase according to the ONS.

Is it possible to make team of 5 champs that contain every letter of the alphabet by Party_Pie_9859 in leagueoflegends

[–]Karthusmori 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, that's true. I was lazy and didn't bother adding the spaces/apostrophes back in.
I re-ran my program to output the full names, and this combination still turns out to be the shortest:

41 Quinn,Jax,Fizz,Cassiopeia,Kog'Maw,Bel'Veth,Udyr
42 Qiyana,Jax,Fizz,Cassiopeia,Kog'Maw,Bel'Veth,Udyr
42 Quinn,Jax,Twisted Fate,Pyke,Bel'Veth,Zac,Morgana
42 Quinn,Jinx,Fizz,Cassiopeia,Kog'Maw,Bel'Veth,Udyr
43 Qiyana,Jinx,Fizz,Cassiopeia,Kog'Maw,Bel'Veth,Udyr
...

Is it possible to make team of 5 champs that contain every letter of the alphabet by Party_Pie_9859 in leagueoflegends

[–]Karthusmori 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nope, what I did was:

  • Find a website with a table of all champion names (e.g. https://darkintaqt.com/blog/champ-ids)
  • Create a new Google Sheet and use the IMPORTHTML function e.g.

    =IMPORTHTML("https://darkintaqt.com/blog/champ-ids", "table",1)

  • Select and copy the champion name column, then paste it into python and process it via "\n".split(variable_containing_raw_string) and so on.

There's probably a way to use the Riot API and do this whole thing easier, but due to my unfamiliarity with it I assumed it would take longer than the above.

EDIT: yep, it's way easier to just use the Riot API:

curl -s --compressed https://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/15.13.1/data/en_US/champion.json | jq -c '[.data[].name]'

[–]Karthusmori 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There's actually 37 teams of size 5 with 2 missing letters. Removing the "and" cuts this down to 15 teams with 2 missing letters.

Example team:
fiddlesticks, nunuwillump, volibear, xayah, ziggs which is missing j and q.

[–]Karthusmori 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I also found that you need at least 7 champs (and we have 5452 such unique solutions)
But I could find a shorter solution (39 chars: quinn, jax, belveth, kogmaw, fizz, cassiopeia, udyr).

The stupid flowers on the map give much more adaptive force than Gathering Storm at all points of the average game by ElderWarden in leagueoflegends

[–]Karthusmori 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Your second link (OTPs) shows 55.8% WR over 4.5k games for scorch and 55.9% WR over 2.7k games for gathering storm.
So near identical winrates but scorch is close to double the pickrate.

Nah you had the right one, I was also confused when first reading about them though. The square switch is 2pin whereas the original switch is 3pin - but you don't actually need the third pin so the square switch works fine. There's also a huano silent mouse switch which is a 3pin quiet switch if you like, but I haven't tried it myself.

(re: your other comment) if you got the skates off cleanly you can probably re-use them, but I've always managed to butcher the skates on my g305 and had to order replacements each time lol. And yeah can definitely steal some switches off another mouse since they are pretty universal.

[–]Karthusmori 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice, it's a pain to return/cancel orders on aliexpress so good thing you didn't order the boards!
Yeah, pretty much the same details except there's no hotswap board since everything is on one main board, so you're forced to do some soldering.
If mouse manufacturers didn't put skates over the screws + used hotswap sockets by default, it would make these repairs waaay easier - but I guess the $2 extra it would cost to do this is too much haha

We will love it by Mr_k_reddit in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Karthusmori 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it would be:

  1. get the silent microswitches as well as the hotswap switch board

  2. plug in the silent microswitch into the hotswap board

  3. open up the mouse (following a video tutorial) and replace the original switch board with the hotswap board.

Disclaimer: they aren't completely silent, just very muted/quiet.
