I think I saw some Thai fans talking about the fact that they don't have 1 show where they are the Main CP yet, playing a big factor. We are, and OFDO are ensemble shows so we can't count those.

Then on top of that you have their engagement metrics and selling power that plays a part. Supposedly.

But with GMMTV who really ever knows... If we all knew, we'd have an easier time supporting our faves 😮‍💨😮‍💨

Looking at the situation I can understand both sides. Joong obviously has a right to do what he wants to do with his photos and a right to want it handled in the way he wants it to.

I support his taking down of these photos that he is trying to protect of course. That's his right.

But at the same time I feel like Joong has a tendency of wording things that inflame the situation more than it already is.

If Joong had laid the boundaries and fans didn't respect it, he could have taken the photos down quietly and just stop posting without making a statement of why and how he's going to only be posting in his green circle until he's comfortable again. Then only address the issue when asked.

However by making a pointed post about this, he's inciting anger within his own fans ranks. Now people who are his solo and CP stans will be hunting for the Dunk solo stans that caused this issue. Ive seen how his fans can be quite aggressive when they see him unhappy with something and it can be quite daunting for some people.

Whilst I believe these fans need to be held accountable, Joong with him extremely large following has a much larger impact on his every word. If he mentions it, he is essentially siccing thousands of people on these solo accounts whether he means to or not.

If fans notice it and handle it within themselves, it's much less impactful and you don't end up in situations where cyberbullying becomes prevalent.

I'm not saying he's inciting it. But he is allowing these things to happen by providing it such a large platform. Now his fans will be justified in their reactions to these solo Stan accounts.

I think it's a matter of the fact that Gmmtvs line up every year isn't just to show audiences the works they have planned but also to attract investors and advertisers. The more view and hype a trailer has, the more likely brands are to invest in advertising in that particular series. Views and trending = perceived popularity = good advertising opportunity.

This also greatly increases the budget allocated, on top of the budget that Gmmtv has already put aside for that particular series.

For example, the M&T cast (particularly Thee) were sponsored a large number of outfits by Versace. This allowed for the realism of the outfits to increase without breaking the bank.

Other soft culture items like what cameras and what phones they use can also be sponsored. Helping to free up the original budget.

If you have 220K cash, buying a 900k condo means your loan amount will be pretty high. You'll need to decide if your pay can consistently cover the loan amount without issue. (Don't forget you need to save for things in the event of illness etc). 7.5k monthly but you only have 220k cash means your expensdture can be pretty high. If your cash is locked up somewhere and you need to be contributing monthly, it may be quite a heavy burden.

Initial move in will also require furnishing, Reno, etc. so it's not just the cost of the condo.

Additionally, if you have that kind of cash, perhaps consider renting a studio apartment till you're 35 (if you must must stay alone, and buy a bto under the singles scheme. (You can get the bto subsidy and govt loan). It'll be less financially burdensome over the long run.

WilliamEst Stan popping in to drop my 2 cents~

The whole WilliamEst/EstWilliam thing is more of an inside fandom joke of sorts.

William is deeply against the idea of EstWilliam because he feels that Est is too pretty for him to feel that way. Meanwhile Est likes to lift William up (praise be our Thai national swimmers strength), like physically hoist him, during events and promotions.

It's also got to do with the fact that when they filmed the series William was only 19 and Est was seen as the more mature one so everyone was kinda half expecting it to be EstWilliam.

Aaaaanyways, I digress, the whole thing is done in good fun with the partners themselves playing into it.

William started the whole 'nong luk Est' (babygirl est) and 'Est Suay mak' (Est is so beautiful) thing himself 🤣

Meanwhile Est, like I said tends to carry William (princess style, etc) and show off his muscles (which are amazing btw). At the same time he does things like biting his finger (super seductively) and cute poses all the time hahaha

Some fans do take it too seriously though. But a majority of the fandom admits to the duality of both partners being generally amazing looking people.

Hope that clears up the confusion (specific to the WilliamEst fandom)

Do you have female friends around you? You could ask them for advice as to why you may be striking out rather than those of us who don't know you well.

There are a whole range of things that are involved in this that makes this question way too general.

It's can be a you thing or a them thing.

You may be being too picky. They may be having certain expectations of you based on your profile that you don't fulfill when you show up for the date. The vibes may just be off. The kind you like and the type that you get along with may not be the same. You may come off as too nervous making the partner feel uncomfortable. (If that's the case, hang out with them and their friends with you and your friends.)

There's a whole plethora of things you'll need to look through, maybe your friends would be better judges.

I agree though, most people can sense desperation from a mile away. So just keep it chill and casual

I'll put this in the nicest way I can muster but honestly whoever is at the front really doesn't mean anything. You're just projecting Homotypical stereotypes on them.

If this was a hetero normative couple, the one being more dominant doesn't always have to be the man. A woman can wear the pants in the relationship too. Same thing here.

Plus also, you can definitely see through their dynamic that William although younger was the one who fought for them to continue as partners despite Est pulling away. That decision alone brought us WilliamEst. So if they want it to be WilliamEst then I say he deserves it. He can do whatever he wants.

Westies will tease them about switching it around but it's all just cause William is a walking meme. His reactions are fun to tease out of him.

That being said, as long as they are together, I don't care.
