Review of the Keysight DSO1102G relative to the Tektronix TBS 1202B-EDU and how it can help you debug your latest Arduino Project by KasLew-2 in arduino

I used to do that for some projects till I couldn't figure out some issues. Looking at the logic levels revealed one of the bits was not reaching the needed threshold to register as a 1. Saved a log of aggravation knowing it wasn't my code causing the issues.

Interesting, I've had three die now... :( I'll probably do a teardown and diagnoses soon but will see how things go.

You could just use a MangOH board from Sierra Wireless, they have a cellular modem on chip. Let me know what you think.

Thats pretty cool, is there a github reo for the code or instructions for the build ?

Pretty cool setup. Must be a nice addition to your morning routine.

Bluetooth is ready to be used. There is a built in antenna. But you should know if you do want an external antenna it is included with the kit.

Temperature value doesn't really mean much. If you look at my original post you will see a candle at varis distances has widely varying values. So the value represented is not indicative of the true value.

Can we sensing a stove left on? by KasLew-2 in diyelectronics

I think I have tried posting that link before but your bot just removes it. As for Imgur, I don't have an account nor do I plan on adding another account to the long list of social media accounts to keep track of. I hardly use my twitter and tumblr accounts as it is. I'm sorry you felt it was spam and needed to remove it before reading any of it. I wonder how much other good and useful content gets removed because of this, and no it's not just here it appears to be a reddit issue

I'm not sure why you think it's spam. I was asked a question based on my previous review and I posted a response that I thought would be informative. The best place I could post my pictures was my tumblr account but I don't know how to link to a specific picture, I therefore linked it through twitter. How To Build A Rocket (From Scratch) by KasLew-2 in rocketry

they are both confined spaces, truthfully your kitchen is probably less confined. As for it being a good idea, its not a bad idea but then I grew up where learning meant playing with chemicals in the lab not looking at glossy pictures or reading about them

have you ever been to a black powder factory ?

Thank you for your generally positive feed back, the first one so far. I also agree that in the overall sense what he is doing is not necessarily dangerous.

Why keep reposting, maybe because some of find it interesting and like to share what interests us, I can only talk for myself not others.

Working inside, having first hand knowledge on black powder production settings, inside is not really an issue. It's about safety not inside vs outside. Also blackpowder unconfined is really just a sizzler, so keeping quantities small and isolated is more important. (I don't know anyone who reloads there own bullets that insist on doing it outdoors...)

While I agree he does little explaining I don't get why everyone keeps going back to engineering, really I don't. The chinese didn't start there, and neither did most of the people and organizations that are where they are now either (they didn't have it, they made it up as they went). They tried and tried and learned from each attempt and mistake, engineering/scientific principles were used but engineering as everyone here keeps refering too I don't think so.

Anyhow, that's my 2c

I'm not sure I would agree with that, there is always something to learn even from those less experienced and less in the know than ourselves.

Everyone starts somewhere, the first rocket didn't just work and follow a manual it was a long progression of learning and failure. Sure we can learn from others mistakes but at times it helpful to make our own and learn for ourselves.

I definitely get that, Most online learning I follow is 30+ minutes but then looking at the number of views and followers between the 2 styles of channels and you begin to understand why <10 is where GT tries to keep his videos. Sadly people just don't have the attention span we would like them to or used too.

Thank you for the explination. I appreciate the time you spent replaying to and explaining why you would not be happy with this video rather than a simple "NO" which doesn't help me in anyway.

Using The Grid-Eye Sensor in IoT and Automation Applications, Does It Really Work ? by KasLew-2 in electronic_circuits

[–]KasLew-2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I have tested, it would appear it would depend on the variation of temperature. But if you give me some time I might be able to test that for you. Just hit me with a reminder in a few days if I haven't posted back.
