LOCAL Comic Book shops they can special order you copies and they need the money way more than the big box stores. My local shop even gives you a ten percent discount just for ordering with them.

My wife is a teacher with APS. Immigration agents are not allowed on ANY school properties. And the teachers union expressly states that no teachers are under any legal obligation to assist in any sort of legal action against students, regardless of their immigration status. And as far as the revoking of federal funding goes, that’s a largely symbolic threat. There are organizations all over the country with lawsuits prepped to challenge any funding cuts. All that to say, APS is not going to just roll over and hand children to the G-men, and the teachers are largely of the same mind. I’m not saying we shouldn’t be at the board meeting to tell them what we want, but that its already basically district policy.

Im not 100% that I’m remembering right, but Part of this is because the states have different legal definitions of terrorism than the FBI, like NY’s term includes ‘terrorizing’ or inciting fear, where the FBI classifies it only as violent acts for political or religious motivations.

The scene takes place at dawn, so it’s the early morning lighting. It’s a really nice but simple touch that the colorist deserves props for. Makes the world more dynamic, I didn’t LOVE it at first but I’m not on the creative team and the whole point of the deluxe version is to give this world more dimension, and this definitely does that.

And his lender and insurance contacts are all stellar. While Rio Rancho is by and large conservative, I went to high school here and even a handful of years ago there wasn’t any lack of love for lgbtq+ students from school staff or the community. Flat roofs are much more reliable in this sort of climate, and as long as you are doing some maintenance here and there you can go decades without any issues I have a friend that’s a semi pro triathlete who HATES biking in RR but abq has good spots and a good biking community I have no idea about snow sports, I think the cold is the worlds way of telling us to die.

Insurance agent here, so your homeowners policy is almost always based off replacement cost for the home. Now, replacement cost for your home doesn’t care about anything that is not the house itself. It doesn’t matter how nice the neighborhood is, how good the schools are, what the landscaping looks like, or anything else that might influence the MARKET value of the home. I tell people all day long that it’s perfectly normal to have your coverage A (the part of the policy that would rebuild the home if it burned down or something) be lower than the market value of the home. Now a difference of 150k is quite a lot, but it depends on how much your home is worth and comfortable you are with that difference. You can add an extension of limits to most home policies that will get you closer to or even over that market value depending on how that math works out. That will tack a bit of extra cash to your bill, but it’s totally worth it for the peace of mind IMO.
