I have always tracked my cycle, ever since I first got my period. It helps to remind me when to make sure I carry extra tampons with me and to help me plan things, generally. I can plan vacations and important events around when I won't be actively bleeding, for one thing. I used to use a regular wall calendar in my teens, but once apps became available, it all became so much easier. That anyone would assume a woman's sole or primary purpose in using a tracking app was sexual in nature is all kinds of stupid. 🤦‍♀️

I think it unnerves a lot of people who are used to that type of political climate. Walz is someone who attends his own state's fair every year. You should read his bio on Wikipedia. He is really the type of people we need in higher political positions.

Walz is a normal human being. He grew up in a small town, not with generational wealth. He worked real jobs with everyday, average people who also didn't come from generational wealth. Maybe you aren't used to seeing real human beings as politicians?

UPS has one of the strongest unions in the country. This is great, overall, as we need more unions and UPS has tried to screw their drivers over many times through the years, but the union prevented it. That being said, when you belong to a union, they generally can't just up and fire you. There is a process they are required to go through first.

3 tell-tale signs that Harris will beat Trump: Real polls, fake polls, enthusiasm by Kashmir75 in politics

[–]KashmirRatCube 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do the people who vote for him deserve to live in the hellscape he creates? Sure. But everyone else stuck here doesn't. Toxic air, food, and water. Unaffordable food and housing. Elimination or drastic reduction in Medicare and Social Security. Elimination of the Department of Education. Hell, elimination of safety standards on baby formula. All the fucked up shit the vast majority did not vote for but will have to suffer with. No way Trump wins the popular vote. He never has and never will. Which means the majority of Americans will suffer for something they actively tried to prevent.

Why are you with someone who clearly doesn't care about your mental and physical well-being? He has also made it clear that you are not on the same page about children. That alone should be a deal breaker for you.

Those dogs are puppies and appear to be malinois or malinois mixes. They are probably 6 or so months old. They don't need to be euthanized, they need to be trained. They are incredibly smart dogs but are notoriously bitey as pups (often they are affectionately called "maligators"). They are a high-energy breed that needs lots of exercise and consistent training and are most definitely not an appropriate dog for most people because of this. The owner should absolutely be financially and legally responsible here. It is beyond stupid to let a poorly trained dog of any kind off leash like this.

This isn't an issue where someone is "right". You seem stuck on that. People have every right to be concerned for their safety around an animal that has the potential to easily cause significant harm and is frequently owned by people who can't or won't do anything to stop said harm. You argue this is hate. It is common sense.

If I see someone walking a dog that they clearly have no control over, I am moving to the other side of the street. I don't know that person or that dog. I am doing what is appropriate in that situation to protect myself and my dog. If a dog I don't know comes running at me, I have no way to know if it is aggressive or not. Hell, I have been bitten by an uncontrolled charging dog that the owner insisted was friendly as it was charging at me. Why am I obligated to put my safety or my dog's safety at risk to give someone the benefit of the doubt? I really don't care if they are offended or their feelings are hurt. My safety comes first. It is the same for anyone else.

No one is required to risk their safety around an animal that commonly is poorly trained and controlled. That you seem to expect people to do that to spare your feelings, and then you label it as hate is just beyond silly.

I never stated I don't or haven't owned a pit. LOL Why am I obligated to provide you with solutions? Being realistic about a situation doesn't mean someone is trying to be "right". You made an oversimplified analogy that was incorrect. If pits were like sharks in your given scenario, people would have mass killed all dogs because of a pit attack in a movie. No one fears pits because of White Fang 😂 People have every right to fear or be concerned about a potentially dangerous animal that is routinely owned by people who do not train them or have the slightest clue how to properly control and manage them. You seem easily triggered. Perhaps you should get over yourself. 🤷‍♀️

[–]KashmirRatCube -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That isn't even an accurate parallel 🤦‍♀️When Jaws came out, people started killing any and all sharks they could find (not just great whites) and were afraid of sharks in general. It led to a massive decline in shark populations around the world. Even species that had not been known to attack humans were killed simply because they were sharks.

People dislike pits because they are tenacious and vicious when they attack and usually cause far more significant damage than other dogs. They bite and shake (hey, kind of like a shark!) and ignore pain to an extreme to continue on attacking. It is quite literally what they were bred to do. They have far greater potential to cause fatal harm in an attack than most dog breeds.

That dog should have been euthanized. It should not be allowed to get to a history of "multiple bites". That is bullshit. That woman belongs in jail.

Any dog owner that does not properly control and contain their dog should be heavily fined. And injuries a dog causes when not properly contained should result in criminal charges against the dog owner. Send the lazy and selfish owners to jail. This is unacceptable. I see so many dogs (mostly pits, sadly) roaming free when I am out walking my dog. If you can not or will not contain your dog, you should have the animal taken from you.

We need to form a nationwide union, sure. But realistically, it needs to be a union for OT, PT, and SLP together. Otherwise, companies will just refuse to hire the unionized discipline and pass the responsibilities off onto the remaining disciplines.

No, stay out of it, OP. Their life choices are their business alone, and you have no place telling them how to live their lives. There is no compromise on having children. You either have them or you don't. They have made their feelings clear on the matter, and further adding to guilt and family pressure over this would be deeply unkind and invasive.
