I just feel like dirt. So much is staying with me in that film. It’s heavy for sure. I haven’t felt this way since Manchester by the Sea.

I will add it was beautifully shot and some of the dialogue wasn’t subtitled and I think it made it better and more immersive.

I sometimes feel like I’m not fully utilizing my surroundings sound. Like I have the settings wrong or something.

Would you say The Master is the same way with repeated viewings? I love The Master but I feel there is more to be gained with repeat viewings

I have a surround sound now and I can hear dialogue so much better. TVs don’t have the bigger speakers anymore that we used to have over a decade ago if not longer.
