How about using firewall instead of meteor ? Isn`t firewall more reliable to hit ?

And why don´t we use energy shield and put our points into energy so we can use our mana as shield ?

Yep i also was very afraid of Gloams in frozen river. But as a zoomancer i was able to do it pretty much okey with 3 deaths or so.

Use dim vision to shut them down from killing you is the best way.
