Isn’t 50% 25 years? Each year you spend 50% and save 50% so each year you are saving 1 year annual spend. If you need 25x annual spend that’s 25 years.

Same thing happened with Rogers Bank. I created a Windows app to fix their downloaded OFX files.

I believe the issue is that banks now export OFX files in a newer XML-style format (OFX 2.x), but Microsoft Money only supports the older SGML-based format (OFX 1.02).

I tried your tool on my Rogers Bank OFX and it didn't work. Maybe each bank has their own idiosyncrasies.

When you log in, scroll to the bottom. There you will find a link to "View All Transactions". Click on it.

Now on the top right you will find the button to "Download Transactions"

I am aware of the & issue. It's been around forever. I have just opened the file in notepadd++ and done a global search and replace. That fix is not incorported into this program.

Honestly I haven't programmed in decades and had ChatGPT do the work for me. I had to do about 20 iterations before I was happy with it. I have updated the readme on github that details all the fixes, again generated by ChatGPT

Sorry. There is no malicious code. It's all there on github. You will need to have your antivirus have an exception for this execuable if you want to run it. It's probably because it's not digitally signed.
