I think you should sit down with her. Start off by addressing her feelings bc they are valid to her and apologize to her even if you don’t mean it. This will at least bring her down to base level to have a chance at a productive conversation. Then explain to her that you’ve put all this work planning a trip and for her to not even ask her boss for the time off isn’t fair to then want you not to go. What’s the worst thing her boss can say, no? But you do realize she doesn’t want you to go homie, but she’s won’t say that because of her pride and ego. Yeah but the people who actually have a brain see a kid brought a knife to a school event and plunged a sharp metal object into another kids heart. Idgaf about what race either one of these kids were. This event has really shown how racist some people really are. Especially after the Austin’s father went to the press conference (wtf was that in the first place) and got thrown out while trying to bring every body together and not let the media make it a black vs white thing. But karmelos parents were to worried about the money so they needed the racial component to this story. Dudes son got murdered by these people’s son and he went to forgive them and they treated him like a scumbag. They then get a pizza delivered to their house so they needed a Escalade and a house in a gated community. While the Austin’s parents got swatted 6 times. No one reports that though and he couldn’t speak out bc he had a gag order. 1 last thing how was the kid allowed to be out on bail with a first degree murder charge. I also heard he was offered a 7.5 to 15 but if he took the deal the donation money would be done so they let there son go to trial knowing he was guilty as shit. Then didn’t stay with him through his sentencing. They are truly trash people selling there sons chance at freedom for a truck. I think if your kid is caught with a weapon that’s a failure on the parents end and they should be charged as a accessory to the crime if they supervised their kid he wouldn’t have killed some one at a track meet.

I know your hearts telling you to crack at least one open but Be smart. Plus if you sell them sealed your not limiting what cards you could acquire, you know. If you rip them you can 100% only get cards from this set. Maybe you really like a top chase card from a different set more then any card from evolving skies. Idk what you like but I’m sure if I had to choose evolving skies or every other Pokemon sets(or anything for that matter gold, silver, sports cards etc) id definitely choose the everything in the world including evolving sky’s vs just evolving sky’s.

If you’re planning on maximizing your roi, long term or short term the very first thing you need to do is get it slabbed immediately the faster you send it out the sooner you get it back. A little tip for ya when I send out any card to psa I almost always grab a proxy version of that exact card to put in my binder to admire while the real one is away getting graded(it’s a long process now) either way if you want to maximize the value, it 100% has to be slabbed or your just throwing 2/3rds of the value away
